My husband and 1 took our 2 children plus their partners and young kids to Ikos Olivia. We had a truly fab holiday and loved the resort, accommodation, food, gardens etc etc. The staff were very accommodating. We also really loved the music arranged by DJ Lazarus which was an additional big pleasure at the resort.

Another lovely holiday at the lovely Ikos Olivia. Weather aside we had a great break centred around good food, drink and service. Many of the exceptional staff from last year had gone, not all but most. I therefore agree with a couple of the reviews on here that standards weren’t quite at the peak that they were….having said that I don’t know anywhere better and it speaks absolute volumes that the hotel paid for my family and our best friends that stayed in another hotel around the corner to have a FREE all inclusive meal at the local restaurant. Wow. I’d thoroughly recommend Ikos to everyone. Another lovely holiday.

Wow 🤩 Ikos Olivia was a memorable holiday, exceeded our expectations! every staff member could not do enough for us. Always ready to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. A hands-on approach always ensures that good goes a long way. The food was delicious and there was so much to choose from, complemented by some of our best wines. Thank you so much to all the team at Ikos, we had the most magical holiday 😍 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went back to Ikos after our first visit back in 2019. It's fair to say we had a great time the first time round and only wish I could say the same about our latest visit. We booked for two holidays in late 2022. The first was for my eldest daughter and her now fiancée. The proposal was arranged with Ikos while they were on their trip and to be fair to the Ikos family the both of them had a fab time. They seemed to get the same experience we had the first time around and as they went a couple of weeks before we were due out I was really hoping for a similar experience to compliment the 5 star plus commitments and what it costs. Unfortunately hope was where it started and ended. Our trip was undertaken with a 15 month old, her mother and ourselves. The rest of this review will be the contents of emails sent directly to Ikos to resolve some of the challenges we had as this will be more concise than detailing all events. Firstly, when booking our holiday, we booked a one-bedroom bungalow which stated either balcony or terrace. Unfortunately an option to pick a preference was not available. I fully accept that I should have flagged this when booking and expressed a desire for a ground floor dwelling due to travelling with an infant. I take my own responsibility for that. That said and given the confident statements from your own website, and I quote. highlighting the final comment on line one. "What makes our personal service so special? An authentic ambience, a naturally warm and friendly welcome, and a genuine attention to detail from every member of the team" "Ikos Resorts knows just what a difference fantastic service makes to guests" I don't think it would be unfair to expect that "attention to detail" to be applied to who is visiting your resort and what reasonable measure should be taken to account for that demographic. In my eyes any family with children under 3 years of age should be prioritized with ground floor accommodation. It just makes sense. It is also far safer than having to manoeuvre children, pushchairs and other equipment up and down stairs that have no hand rail or anti slip protocols in place You talk about if only the resort had known about the other issues, they would have fixed them. Let me please explain why I had no faith in this. Shortly after arrival and waiting till well after 3pm to be allocated any room I returned to reception and enquired about the room change. My only expectation here was for the Ikos team to at least try to accommodate the request. I didn't get to feel a genuine attempt would be made, however. At the same time, I mentioned 2 other things. 1, I would like, if possible, for the sofa bed in the lounge to be made up into a double bed and the single removed. The reason for this is my daughter and grandchild would be in the bedroom so my wife and I would be sharing the lounge and a single bed would not be suitable I was informed that this would be taken care of at turndown that evening. Arriving back at the room after being out for dinner and ready for a night's rest after what had been an 18-hour day with a young child we find that the room had not changed as expected and my wife and I were faced with sharing a single bed. I returned to reception again and was told that turn down can go on till 10:00 pm. They didn't even let me explain that turn down had happened, but the room had not been altered before jumping in to try explaining why it hadn't been done. We then had housekeeping turn up after we had put the baby to bed to try and sort which was far too late. However, they made the double up and said they would return the next day to remove the bed. In the end we decided to stick with he single bed and sofa as I didn't want any more disruption to the start of our holiday 2, I would like for the requested fruit puree and fresh fruit we had been in touch about weeks before we were due to be available as agreed. All I asked for was in effect one banana, one orange, some fruit puree and some yoghurt for the baby only to be delivered daily if possible. Again, I was informed this would be sorted. When room service did turn up, I was more than surprised to see a bowl of fruit puree and a separate bowl of yoghurt that would have fed the whole family and a variety of fruit none of which contained a banana or orange. There was far too much food, and it was only going to go to waste So, I had made 2 requests for simple things in reality, and both had failed. That so called "attention to detail" and "fantastic service" was missing and my faith that in anything I was asking for was actually being listened to was hugely eroded It took a further 5 days just to rectify the fruit issue after speaking with various people never mind the other things, I had concerns about. They are however listed below The safe would not reset so we could not use it The air conditioning although working would randomly flash red lights during the day and night which disturbed our sleep - Unsure if this was resolved but was reported We could not fill the bathroom sink with water as the plug mechanism wasn't working to the plug not being fitted and the mechanism being clogged and not moving The bath plumbing needs addressing as the water does not drain properly and we had to take showers with the bath ankle deep in water. a slipping concern for all of us Finally, and I notice this was not even mentioned in your email there was the broken glass found in the room which put my 15-month-old grandchild at serious safety risk. (photos attached) With the last point in mind please allow me to quote your infinite car protocol. Although developed with Covid in mind the principals I feel are relevant to all aspects of safety on site. Guest Rooms - "Deep cleaning of guest rooms and suites". I have doubts of how thorough any cleaning regime was concerning this room If this is indeed the fact how can broken glass be left in the room and how can bathroom fixtures be left in a poor state of repair or maintenance. None of the above is acceptable in any way from a company that is supposed to pride itself on service and luxury. I have no issue paying a premium for services, but I do expect to get value for money when I am paying a premium. However, it isn't even about the money. Ikos as a company made the simplest mistake in any customer experience and simply did not actually listen to me as a customer. You tried to overcompensate with complimentary gifts I didn't even want and didn't address my real issues. As someone who has worked in Customer Service roles for many years, I see this all too often. We could have ended up having a good holiday if you would have concentrated on what I was asking for and sorting them first time rather than assuming what I want. Making these assumptions as great as they were in terms of perceived levels of service unfortunately addressed none of my comments. This means that I do not anticipate visiting Ikos Resorts at any point in the future and can only when asked about my experiences will not be able to provide Ikos as a recommended holiday destination. I am now likely after the last incident to lodge a formal complaint as it is only by a great deal of luck in my opinion that my granddaughter, Evie-Mae (something else that Ikos couldn't get right in the below email) was not potentially seriously injured. I appreciate this email will be disappointing to read but it is important to convey how upset I have been about the entire experience we have had. My main aims for this email was to get Ikos to react to these concerns and give me some assurance that no other customer would have the same experience we had. To date however I have not seen anything back from Ikos that gives me that clarity. It's such a shame as we really felt we have found a fantastic place to visit

My husband, 2 year old son & I had an amazing stay at Ikos Olivia. We stayed in a 1 bedroom bungalow which allowed us room for our son to sleep and nap while we could watch telly or sunbathe outside. We were originally in a room near the theatre, but we moved after the noise was too loud one night. The bedroom was a large size even with the cot. The bathroom was also large with a separate bath and shower. They provided baby bath products and a bath mat on request. The living room was a large size with a comfortable sofa. We couldn’t get our phones to connect to the rely unfortunately. I didn’t like the liquor in the minibar so on request they provided a litre bottle of dark rum and Bombay Sapphire for me husband. They also provided milk for my sons bottles. The patio was large with a sofa and sun loungers. My son enjoyed kicking a ball around the garden. We hired bikes for one afternoon and had a trike for my son for the whole stay. He loved this and we’re now getting one for his birthday! The restaurants were really good quality. I wouldn’t say Michelin star as advertised, but a hundred times better than any other hotels we’ve eaten in recently. The cocktail were also very good. The service in the Asian restaurant was great, but the French restaurant wasn’t as good. Same with the buffet. We loved the pool especially the splash pool for my son. We found the service around the pool a bit hit and miss depending on where you are sitting. We loved going out for a day with the Tesla. I would highly recommend to families, but not couples. Overall an amazing stay and we’ll be back to another of their resorts

We have just completed another wonderful stay at Olivia. Every aspect of the stay was wonderful (apart from the weather!) and the food quality and service remains exceptional. We were a group of 7 family members (all adults) in four rooms. The accommodation was again excellent as was the housekeeping. We had an unfortunate medical need for one of the party. The hotel were truly amazing in assisting us throughout to resolve this. From visiting the on site doctor to getting us to the local hospital in a hotel car with Anna from reception accompanying us and translating/supporting all the way through. My brother was kept in overnight and again the next day the hotel arranged a car for us to pick him up - thankfully much better and now safely home. This was an aspect of IKOS we had (happily) not needed to call on before but so reassuring. Maria the GM continues to do an amazing job under difficult circumstances this year. This is a tough year with the poor weather and tough labour market and massive cost inflation everywhere. The whole team are doing an amazing job! Thank you all but especially Maria, Lucy and the wonderful Anna. Hope the weather is better in Aria in July!

Our first visit to an ikos resort and we were very impressed. On arrival we were sat down and handed drinks before getting a map and an explanation of how everything works. We joined the WhatsApp hotel group and had lunch as the room was not ready. The room was lovely,we had a panoramic junior suite with a sea view, room was clean, bright and had all we needed. The hotel grounds are immaculate, all very well kept, lovely herb garden too. FOOD. We ate at all the onside restaurants and used flavours, the buffet restaurant. Our favourites were Provence and Ouzo, which you can also use for lunch. The French onion soup and the beef at Provence were a highlight. The buffet is great and overlooks the beach for a stunning setting. Book all restaurants in advance as they get busy. We also had great food delivered to the room via the WhatsApp service, pizza, burgers, gyros etc. We also used the dine out and had a lovely meal at Mouragio. DRINK. As much as you can handle, beer, spirits, cocktails and copious amounts of wine, you can't really go wrong. We took the Tesla out for the day and visited a little village called Afytos, such a nice place with great views and lovely little streets with plenty of shops and bars. The entertainment was OK,we had 2 shows whilst there,a motown tribute and a 80s show, both good fun. The beach is fabulous and no worries about getting sunbeds, everything is done for you, they bring towels, clean your sunglasses and fetch you Heineken! The pool areas are all well maintained and again plenty of beds,no rushing for towels at 9am. All the staff were great but I'd like to mention Stella,Dimitris,Olga and Athena at the pool area,Dimitris at flavours and Katerina on reception. We would love to come back and visit Ikos Olivia in the future.

Superb - everything was top notch from the checking In experience to the quality of room, the service was impeccable - staff were friendly, efficient, polite without exception. The drinks are all premium, superb wines and food was excellent. The sun beds are comfy both around pools and on beach. Pool is a comfortable 29’ and all the grounds are meticulously maintained. Our only slight gripe was the amount of children, there should be more defined areas for kids / adults. The majority of little ones used the lower pool BUT some parents decided they would inflict their kids on everyone at the top (more adult oriented) pool. The beach was easier to find a peaceful area as was better defined.

This was our 5th visit to this hotel and again we were very impressed. The familiar welcome on our arrival, friendly staff, excellent surroundings, beautifully appointment room, made us feel like we had returned home. We have also previously been to the Dassia and the Oceania, which are also wonderful hotels in the Ikos group and well worth a visit. We ate at Flavors on our first evening, where the choice of food from the buffet is excellent. However, our preference is to eat in the speciality restaurants, which we had pre-booked. We love the excellent choice of food/wine available at each of these restaurants and the waiter service. We also tried the dine out option at 4 Epohes (4 Seasons), which is located over the road from the hotel. We were greeted by the friendly staff there and made comfortable. The menu was varied and clearly in liaison with the Ikos group, but we would have to say that we still prefer the on site hotel restaurants. Most days we ate breakfast and lunch in either Provence or Ouzo; delicious. The hotel and grounds are exceptionally well maintained and a joy to experience. EVERY member of staff does their utmost to ensure you have a wonderful stay; it would appear that nothing is too much trouble. We met Alseyd, the hotel manager, who was very friendly, attentive and passionate about ensuring his guests had the best possible holiday experience. Special mention also goes to Vasiliki (Anaya and Provence), Nikolas, Spyros and Maria (Provence), Katerina (Ouzo) and Stella and Dimitris (main lobby/pool bar). All of these members of staff provided us with exceptional customer service throughout our stay. We can't wait to book another Ikos holiday.

We stayed at the Ikos Olivia in May. We have stayed at Ikos Oceana a number of times and Ikos Dassia twice. The weather was not great but we made the most of it. The service was excellent. The main bar/pool staff Dimitris, Olga, Stella and Anna were excellent and so friendly. The food in all the restaurants was excellent and beautifully served. Thanks to Nikolas the manager of Provence,Spiros, the under manager of Provence and Sakis who was in a few different restaurants. We much preferred eating in the hotel to the two dine outs we tried. The only fault was the number of small children. They outnumbered the adults by a lot. We used to go to the buffet very early every morning to avoid the noise! We do have grandchildren. Other people we spoke to without children were of the same opinion as we were. Apparently the adults only pool used to be bigger but it has been cut back. Perhaps it would be a good idea to make it back to its original size. We are booked to go to Ikos Dassia in October this year and Ikos Odisia in October ‘24.
