Excellent lunch, excellent service in a spacious, clean room, located in a lovely closed courtyard with an adjacent small museum of agricultural tools, household goods and pieces of Sardinian craftsmanship.
Rich appetizer of local cured meats, cheeses and various grilled vegetables (excellent aubergines, olives, mushrooms etc....)
Homemade Sardinian ravioli and gnocchi.
The baked suckling pig and the stewed lamb served with fresh vegetables are special. To finish, coffee and ricotelle.
The dining room staff was very attentive and attentive
What to say ?
Thanks for being so good

We had a very pleasant stay at Su Bistentu, where we quickly felt like part of the family - and had a lot of fun greeting all the various animals, especially our little girl. The place is in no way luxurious, but it provides all the essentials. Breakfast and dinner didn't hit top marks either, but we still felt generally satisfied. Where the stay became a little something extra was in how Mario and Gabriella included us and made us feel extremely welcome and part of the family. Despite of the language barriers, we had a lot of fun conversations and we always felt great.

Farmhouse 5 minutes drive from Iglesias. We are on holiday, Mario and Gabriella, allowed us to appreciate the typical products of their farm... They are a very welcoming family. Very good food. Simple and clean rooms with private bathroom and private entrance.
The only consideration as tourists is that nn all beaches can be reached in a few minutes by car. We had a great time. Recommended

I had dinner with friends in this farmhouse where for starters, we were served 1 terrine of sautéed champignon mushrooms obviously typical of the Sardinian tradition, 1 terrine of chickpeas, both in such a small quantity that we were not even able to share them, 1 rice omelette made clearly with leftover rice which forgive me but I can't find any derivation from the Sardinian territory, 1 tray of sausage and I think it was raw ham, 1 terrine of cheese, 1 tray of vegetables. The bread of bocconcini with oil clearly purchased and not homemade, like this is expected on a farm. We had the impression that the dishes served were leftovers from the day before or from lunch.
For first course maloreddus and good ravioli with sauce, for second excellent pork and stewed lamb also good, salad.
For dessert, some donuts which I didn't know were traditional local desserts.
I was hoping to be able to taste the typical products of a farmhouse, but instead I was disappointed.

We went in a camper with friends and had lunch at this farmhouse. What can I say... very simple but delicious appetizers, two first courses, malloreddus with ragĂą and ravioli with homemade sauce both and two second courses, roast pork and stewed lamb, bitter and sweet coffee... all very good, generous portions, we ate everything and since the waitress noticed that we appreciated it, she also asked us if we wanted an encore. Fast service, very friendly, very honest price only 35 euros.
The location is also nice... inside there is also a very nice little museum of ancient things... We recommend it!!!

Food served in plastic bowls and small portions. Poor food or food from the day before. The sauce of the ravioli and gnocchi was terrible and the gnocchi alla championsse had no seasoning. The bread was inedible and certainly not homemade. The lamb and roast suckling pig were served cold. Counted and bitter aubergines. The only thing appreciated were the sweet and sour fennel...But we woke up hungrier than before!!Never again!

Super recommendable experience! Very welcoming and helpful service, as well as super attentive; great (and typical) food in abundance at a more than fair price! Despite celebrating a birthday to which we were external, nothing was missing, quite the contrary!

Conveniently located near Iglesias, Su Bistentu is a great base to explore the fabulous southern coastline and withing 30 minutes from the Cagliari airport. Truly family atmosphere and wonderful traditional Sard food and wine (if you are lucky, signora will make the suckling pig - simply fabulous!). The owners have a little museum of farming implements. Highly recommended!

We stayed two nights there. The bed room and bath room were large, clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast and dinner(4 courses including water and wine) were very nice. The language barrier was lowered with the help of the tablet PC of the owner. The family was extraordinarily friendly, entertained us and helped us with planing for the day. We felt at home here and liked to come back from the daily excursion for dinner.

We really enjoyed our stay at Su Bistentu. The owners are very friendly and the food is mouthwatering. We stayed 5 days there and would definitely recommend for a family with kids. The children loved it since they had the opportunity to see different animals. Rooms are clean and large.
