My boyfriend and I went here for a romantic getaway during our stay in Italy. We had the most perfect stay, from entrance to depart. Martha gave us a warm welcome, showed us the beautiful room/apartment in which had everything we could need and then some. Complimentary minibar in the fridge, which also contained a large bottle of their own...

I cannot tell you how wonderful our time at La Foresteria truly was. From the first moment of arrival through the gracious kindness of everyone there, to the astonishing meals and breathtaking wines, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We've been to Italy several times, and never had we had so perfect a time. The smells in the...

I believe it is appropriate to "borrow" the 12th-century tale of a German bishop traveling to the Vatican for a meeting with the Pope to title this review. Accordingly to the tale the bishop sent a prelate ahead of him to survey the villages along the route for the best wines, and when he found the best wine producer instead...

La Foresteria at the Serego Alighieri winery is a terrific place to stay and enjoy the Valpolicella region. Needless to say the wines are sensational and the tasting with the Amarone and Recioto is truly great, but the rooms/apartments are beautiful, comfortable and a great way to stay near Verona and go explore the city and perhaps catch some opera...

The son of Dante bought this estate in the 15th Century and his descendants still live there and produce their excellent wines. We spent five beautiful days there and could hardly bear to leave. The apartments are located in restored estate buildings around a central courtyard. They are comfortable and atmospheric and we started to relax as soon as we...

As avid Amarone fans, La Foresteria Serego Alighieri combines the best wine enjoyment and stay elements. The Masi wine tasting is a first rate experience with up to 6-7 types offered. The "rooms" are generous fully appointed apartments with kitchens and tastefully decorated overlooking a courtyard on one side and the vineyards on the other. Village country sounds are birds...

We stayed 2 nights at Serego Alighieri. Had a wonderful stay - it was so peaceful within and outside the winery. We ran around the property as well to explore the small village surrounding it. Easy to just drive in and out of the winery with an entry code so no problem even if you decide to come back around...

Foresteria Serego Aligheri has a series of apartments in a working vineyard that creates top quality wines including superb Amarones. The apartment that we stayed in was just lovely - 2 bedroom, 2 baths, living room, kitchen and dining area. It overlooked a courtyard on one side and vineyards on the other. Shortly after our cordial greeting we began a...
