#4 of 5 Speciality lodging in Porreres
In the center of mallorca, among fields and vineyards, Can feliu is an extensive farm dedicated to viticulture, with a renowned production of organic wines, and, since 2006, also a cosy hotel with a special charm. Extensive facilities are centered around the main house, whose age dates back to the 17th century and that has been restored with loving care to preserve the centuries-old structures and character. Between walls and stone arches, a refined and warm decor retains the character of the typical Majorcan landhouse, and the comfort of modern facilities coexists now harmonically with the charm of the old rural world. Can Feliu offers an incomparable location in nature, comfortable rooms decorated with love, multiple and different spaces in the gardens of the estate, an outdoor pool, playground for children… plus all the necessary comforts, such as parking and free WiFi. And offers also homecooked food and local specialities, served "al fresco".

We had a 5 night stay here in October. What a beautiful place. We arrived very late but the hotel was able to accommodate that. We woke up the next day to a beautiful Majorcan countryside. We had the paella night which was delicious, top quality food. We also did the wine tour and BBQ evening which again was top quality and well priced. We hired a car for a few days and went to other parts of the Island. I'd probably recommend getting a car as it is remote, equally my other half could easily have stayed at the hotel the whole time Great hosts, lovely room, good food and the red wine was delicious (even though I never drink it at home!) I did get eaten alive by the mosquitos as it had rained the night before we arrived so I'd maybe bring some mosquito spray. Also the hire car company that we used have not given our deposit back which is annoying but nothing to do with the hotel!

We decided to stay somewhere a bit off the beaten path, and Can Feliu did not disappoint! The agriculture present at Can Feliu is amazing! There are many different types of fruit trees - citrus, apricots, plums, and so many wine grapes! There are also chickens, turkeys, and pigs on the property! I highly recommend doing a wine tasting and the paella dinner on Wednesday nights! This was a lovely getaway, with an easy drive to most popular tourism sites on the island.

A great find. So peaceful and what a friendly welcome. Other hotels could learn from this! Landscaped gardens and so quiet. It was a perfect place to stay before heading of to the airport. Food was great value and imaginative. Free wine was a bonus. Do try and organise a tasting if staying there

Can Feliu is in a stunning position with lovely views. beautifully landscaped area with little nooks and crannies with chairs and tables. The husband and wife team who run the place were welcoming friendly and entertaining. There is a small swimmingl pool which looked idyllic, we did not use it as the weather was too cold! There is a large lounge area for guests with an open fire and honesty bar with snacks and drinks which was handy. The room was really clean with a large comfy bed and nice large bathroom with massive walk in shower. The only reason I did not rate this a 5 is there were a few hiccups. It was March and a really cold week, we arrived by bike and wanted a nice hot shower, initially there was no hot water, we were told to let it run, which we discovered meant let it run for at least 15 minutes.....I'm not exaggerating! I felt I could fill a small swimming pool before I got hot water which on an island that suffers water shortages is a little worrying environmentally. The second morning we were there the water trickled to a stop, so we had no water, it came back eventually but was off for a good 45 minutes. The heating / air con took ages to heat up and blew cold air for quite some time when we first arrived in the room, again when you are cold this is not too good. We had dinner here for two evenings, the food was good, but the dining room was very cold. Breakfast had a good choice of food. I would stay here again but maybe not in the colder months.

Hello, thank you very much for your comment, both my brother and I as owners and our team has taken very good note of your comments. Let me just tell you the following: Undoubtedly the day of his arrival the weather changed and it was one of the coldest days of the year, something that is not normal at that time, and perhaps we should have been more cautious with the temperature of the heating. As for the waiting time of the hot water, it coincided that the water return clocks were programmed as in summer from 5 o'clock in the afternoon and for that reason we have already modified the slogan. We also had the bad luck of a power outage of about 45 minutes. Your stay was very pleasant and we hope to see you again and sincerely your comments will help us improve. Sincerely, Xavier Feliu

Absolutely on the countryside you’ll find this astonishing place with comfortable and a bit luxury rooms in different houses. Floor heating system in the bathroom was an extra plus due to early, and cold, season. Comfortable pillows and spacious room. Great breakfast and check before arrival if they arrange dinner, BBQ some days, or we can recommend the restaurant in Porreres.
