Absolutely lovely hotel only stayed for 4 days with my friend but it was the chill out time we needed! Very impressed with branded drinks and the fizzy drinks at the inside bars from glass bottles never had that at an all inclusive before l, staff very friendly and a credit to the hotel apart from the lady in coffee shop but nevertheless i didn’t let it ruin my experience, food is good too always choice so you will always find something to eat, rooms are great and spacious they have really good amenities defiantly would return in the future

Hotel's Favourite
The Hotel outdoor and pool areas are really nice, no problem with getting a sunbed at anytime of day. Rooms very clean and well maintained. Staff are very helpful, polite, professional and credit to the hotel. Food always very good, all inclusive drinks menu is the best I have enjoyed including Caribbean hotels. Entertainment team very friendly without being pushy. Thought some of the evening shows in disco bar could be a bit more professional, Beatles show was very good. Only minor issues was the temperature in the reception and Disco bar was quite warm, to be fair it was very hot outdoors. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Response from Jose Angel Vazquez, General Manager at H10 Timanfaya Palace
Responded 26 Aug 2021
Dear mbheating, Thank you very much for your nice review and your rate of 5 points. Possibly, the high temperature in the Disco bar was during the heatwave that the last week. our Air Conditioning is prepared to reduce inside, in the big areas, the external temperature by 10 degrees. You are right that 4 or 5 days during the year, the temperature inside can be hot too. Thank you again. Kind regards, José Angel Vázquez General Manager

We have been back for three weeks and have already booked to go back at the end of August. It was our first choice to go to for our first holiday since Covid as our last one was cancelled because of lockdown. We have always enjoyed our holidays here it is such a friendly hotel with the most amazing staff. We had a wonderful room with sea view which was always cleaned to a high standard and always smelt fresh. The food was brilliant the best fish cooked fresh when ordered a good variety with something for everyone at breakfast, lunch and evening. Can’t wait to go back. Mr & Mrs JA Jones

We have been to TIMANFAYA PALACE H10 many times before. this is our favourite hotel. All the staff are so friendly including the managment. Nothing is too much bother. The food is excellent and a varied high class drinks menu. All of the hotel is spotlessly clean , and children free (adults only). Have met many friends over the years , who we see each time we visit TIMANFAYA PALACE ! OVERALL 10/10 THANKYOU TO ALL THE STAFF FOR MAKING OUR HOIDAYS WONDERFUL.

We booked this hotel for 14 nights all inclusive after we read excellent reviews and certainly didn’t regret it! I had emailed the hotel a couple of weeks beforehand to request a room with a refurbished bathroom and a higher floor and the room we got (room 434) was perfect. The bathroom had ample storage for toiletries and a fabulous walk-in shower, which never steamed up the bathroom mirror, as long as the air conditioning was running. There was ample storage for our clothing and shoes but we did need to put a couple of things on one hanger, which was no problem. The room was cleaned daily to a good standard and towels changed as required. We also booked a sea view room, which I would definitely recommend. There was a table and two reclining chairs on the balcony, which was sheltered from the breeze and perfect for enjoying the early evening sunshine. The manager is lovely. He introduced himself to us at our welcome meeting with the TUI reps and offered tips on staying safe in the sun and sea when conditions are really breezy. This was a lovely touch and I’m sure he leads by example because all the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The restaurant has wonderful views out over the sea towards Fuerteventura and there was never a problem getting a table in our preferred spot. There was a fantastic selection of food for all meals, including freshly-prepared food. There were themed nights with cuisine from different parts of the world several times each week and we were spoilt for choice. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a hotel abroad where the pastry chefs continually offer such different and delicious desserts. If you choose this hotel, you will go home a little heavier (unless you have cast iron willpower) We also visited the a la carte restaurant during our stay. The food was fabulous but I found it a little cool in there so would recommend ladies wearing a cardigan or lightweight jacket. For this reason, we didn’t pay a second visit but the buffet restaurant was so good that we weren’t unhappy about this. The outside areas are well-kept. There are three pools, one of which is undercover and heated. There are ample loungers around all pools and in quieter parts of the gardens. We didn’t find it a problem getting loungers with a parasol after lunch on any day during our stay. There are two room key operated gates leading out onto the promenade and the hotel is in a convenient position, a couple of minutes walk from the nearest lovely sandy beach. The promenade is well-paved making it easy to walk the whole length of Playa Blanca to the Rubicon Marina and beyond for those who like to be active. Also the hotel and the whole resort is very disabled-friendly, making it an ideal choice for wheelchair users. There is a small but well-equipped gym overlooking one of the pools which also has a sauna. It wasn’t busy when we used it late afternoons several times during our stay. The coffee bar - Mike’s Coffee - was a lovely place to get out of the sun mid-afternoon or to get a take-out coffee to drink on the lounger. The cookies and muffins from Mike’s are another culinary temptation! We spent our evenings in the Piano Bar, where the entertainment was more low-key so didn’t experience the theatre-style shows. The choice of drinks is excellent, with branded alcoholic drinks and a selection of beers and cocktails. The waiters work very hard to make sure that everyone gets served without too much waiting. We only had one problem during our stay. The hotel became busier towards to end of our stay and the water pressure and temperature of the shower declined. We mentioned this to the receptionist and an engineer sorted the problem the following morning, although the pressure didn’t quite return to its previous strength. We had an evening flight and were able to keep our room until just before we left at a cost of 10 euros per hour. During our stay, we met people who were making return visits to the Timanfaya Palace, one of them had visited 12 times! The ‘regulars’ were noted by the wonderful welcome they received from the restaurant staff, greeted like long-lost friends and several were overheard telling the staff that they’d already booked another stay on their last day. We can see why people love the Timanfaya Palace and will definitely return in the future.

Just returned from 2 weeks at Timanfaya Palace and can only recommend. The staff were great and helped so much when my wife was unwell which took a lot of pressure off me. The hotel grounds are lovely, with plenty of beds, the food is top notch, we eat most of our meals in the Kasbah restaurant which was more than we expected. If you are looking for a good holiday in a very good resort at a hotel with good food, good entertainment and great staff, then this is for you. Very highly recommend

In terms of package holidays, this is one of the best hotels we've stayed at over the past 40 years or so. Staff with whom we interacted were, without exception, friendly, efficient and helpful. Our room (219) was large, comfy bed, hair dryer, plenty of wardrobe and storage space, free safe and good size balcony. Added bonus from our perspective was that the hotel seems to have done away with bathtubs and installed walk-in shower cubicles instead. I wish all hotels would follow suit (or at least give you the option). The room was kept spotlessly clean by the daily maid service. Also, the hotel knew that it was our wedding anniversary and we had a card and bottle of cold cava awaiting us when we got to the room. A really nice touch and very much appreciated. Food was buffet style, with certain items available for cook to order. It wasn't haute cuisine but it was plentiful, with lots of variety and was, to us, perfectly acceptable. Also, as long as you asked the previous day, you could swap your lunch and dinner arrangements, no questions asked. Wi-fi is free and available throughout the hotel. Worked perfectly for the entire stay. The grounds are extensive and very well maintained with 3 swimming pools of varying degrees of heat and loads of loungers and umbrellas. The waiter service in the bars was quick and efficient - no long waits. I wanted to give the hotel a 5-star rating, but there was one thing that irritated me: ie, the long-trousers rule for male diners at dinner. If it was dinner with waiter service and menus (eg, as you have on cruises) I would understand it; but not for buffet style. I am over 70 but even I feel this is an antiquated and outdated system. Overall, though, I think the best recommendation I could give is that we would have no hesitation staying at this hotel again.

Dear Cardiff Terry, Thanks for your time and review. Excellent comments that are not so important compared with "one thing that irritated" you -> I wanted to give the hotel a 5-star rating but there was one thing that irritated me: the long-trousers rule for male diners at dinner. I am over 70 but even I feel this is an antiquated and outdated system. Sulrey you must be proud of your legs and want to show them to other guests. However, 90% of my guests, Including me (having runner's legs), want to keep that rule. It is written everywhere and is well-known in social media. Best regards, José Angel Vázquez GM
