We stayed here during our revent trip to BSB at Assen, hotel has central location in the village and free car parking. I stayed here many times for business and know most rooms. The atmosphere is meant to be of an abbey, with wooden beams, some vaulted doors and stained glass. First of all, if you are a foodie, you should stay clear of this hotel. The staff are young and friendly but there is clearly no chef in the kitchen. Hotel Westerburcht is located on the main street of the picturesque Westerbork. Rooms are very nice and clean. The Beaty & Wellness Sauna next to the hotel is wonderfull. Check out the special arrangement that the hotel offers. The restaurant Grand Café la Trappe of the hotel is good. They have nice beers and the food was very tastefull.
