Location in town, plenty of bike parking. We came from Amsterdam so had to train to Leeuwarden, bus 30 min to the ferry, 45 min ferry, and 30 min bike from Nes to Ballum. Sounds like a lot but wasn't too bad. Room: interesting with small living room and stars up to loft style bedroom. We upgraded to this room....

We stayed at Hotel Dolores for a short weekendtrip. Arrived very late on friday (because we forgot to make a reservation for our car on the ferry we had to wait for 2 hrs to get on the boat), the people of Hotel Dolores did their very best to make sure that we felt welcome and wrapped us up some...

We visited hotel Dolores for the third time and it never gets boring! The staff is friendly and the rooms clean. We had a room with a place to sit on the ground floor and on the second floor the bedroom. In the morning they put a little basket on a plank next to the door, so you can decide...

We had a really nice room with the bed 'upstairs' and a small sitting area + dining table downstairs. It felt more like a small appartment than a hotel room. Breakfast is served in a basket at your door each morning, no need to get dressed and all, just take the basket and have a romantic breakfast in private. Great!...

I stayed at Dolores for my first visit to the Island. It is a lovely, small hotel. Spacious rooms (mine was a split level with a loft) - although some points of the room could use an updating (e.g., the carpet). The only thing missing was a bathtub. I also found the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. Two points that...

We've stayed two nights in the hotel. It is attached to a mexican restaurant, where we had tapas (and good ones, too. And the desserts.... Grand. It started out as just a restaurant). Brilliant and original. To simply walk to your room after you've had tapas. Who wouldn't love that?! The room was new and clean. Boxspring-beds and your own...

We stayed in Hotel Dolores for two nights. The studio we got was clean and had plenty of space for two. We enjoyed having breakfast served to our room, which we could enjoy when we felt like it. The breakfast was complete and as such has fresh orange juice and fruit (amongst other things). Also we could make our own...
