We haven't stayed in the hotel, but we are returning dinner guests at St. Lambert. When you find yourself in the rural city Helmond, we highly recommend this restaurant. It can be found next to the church at the central market. This is a cosy place to eat, sometimes busy and lively predominantly with local guest. The "AH menu" provides...

Clean and comfortable room. Not very large but had TV, enjoy suite had shower not bath. Food excellent and good continental breakfast. Staff very helpful. No lift so be aware of the many stairs unless you are in the 1st floor.

I found myself at Dusseldorf and on the heat of the moment, I decided to cross the border and go to Helmond. Did not know what to expect. I found some interesting houses near the biblioteque. I found an interesting architecture. I found a wonderful juicy stake with amazing fries (down to the basics) at St Lambert hotel and bistro...

Almost all restaurants in provincial Holland are closed on Monday evenings, which is why we had little choice in where to eat. We weren't staying in the hotel so this review only relates to the restaurant. The menu is uninspiring and the food just so so. The only saving grace is that by local standards it isn't terribly expensive.

On arrival the staff were very friendly. Having been given our room keys we realised we were on the top floor, with a mountain of stairs and no lift (well that we were made aware of), not a problem for my 2 colleagues who were travelling light, or for me normally but at the end of a business day in...

I stayed here for one night on a business trip. Rooms are basic but warm clean and comfortable. Also centrally located in the town if you want to explore. Dinner was excellent and reasonably priced. Restaurant gets lively with locals popping in for a drink in the evenings. Very friendly. Breakfast is basic but OK

Off street parking near by - no own parking area. Church is right next door - don't worry - the chimes stop overnight !. Rooms clean and quite adequate with shower, TV etc. Pleasant staff and very nice well cooked food. We chose this as a base whilst visiting Floriade - so glad we did - easy walk to the...

The nearby Tulip hotel was full so the organisers of the local business event reserved me a single room here. As another reviewer has said, it was clean and tidy so the size of the room wasn't an issue, I just needed somewhere to sleep with access to a desk, TV and shower. The church next door (Lambertus Kerk) has...

It's important to remember that the Hotel Restaurant St-Lambert is rated as 2-star, in a town where tourism is not the focus. In Helmond, there are only 2 hotel/BnB options. With that in mind, it's perfectly okay. The rooms are small and the double bed was two singles pushed together. But the room and ensuite bathroom were clean, and the...
