We just returned from a week at this beautiful campsite. The grounds are incredibly well kept and everywhere else is spotless. The shower/WC facilities are constantly being cleaned, even during COVID times we felt very safe to use these facilities. The owner and staff are all very friendly and helpful. Right outside the campsite is the start of the most beautiful bike paths and just at the top of the road by the lighthouse is the stunning beach of Texel. There is also the De Robbenjager restaurant just outside the campsite, I can honestly say that was the best fish and chips we’ve had in a very long time. Can’t recommend this campsite enough! Everything was perfect.
This is a very popular site. Was fully booked when visiting in APRIL 2019 - probably a good idea to book. Note limited reception/check in hours also. Good and well maintained site with spacious pitches and the sanitation facilities were VERY clean (shower length capped at 5 mins). Lovely sandy beach right next to the site interesting lighthouse and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Village of Cocksdorp approx 20 mins walk with supermarket etc. Note the lighthouse casts a sweep of light over the site every 10 seconds. If this might bother you bring a facemask or similar. There were also some chalets for rent on site which looked wonderful. Will be recommending them to friends.
When we arrived at the Parc the people of the reception are very kindly and friendly. He give Us the key of the chalet and when we open the door we think it is new but it was already three years old. It stay near the beach 200 metres The building of the toilets and showers very clean and nice also the toilet and shower in the chalet. We will come back soon.
The challets are quite new, have enough space to live in, a handy kitchen, sufficient appliances to eat and drink with, good bathroom with enough room to shower yourself and good beds to sleep in. The surroundings are of a breath taking beauty. Dogs are allowed and our German Shepherd was a happy dog during our midweek stay. In general your dog is welcome in the beach houses and restaurants around Texel. There is always water available. Challete Nevada 18 GH. Photographs can be found on their website.
