Super nice hotel to spend the weekend. We were warmly welcomed by Miranda who helped us so much (before and during our stay) and made us feel at home! The breakfast was amazing (and a bit different on the second day so we could try more things) and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We strongly recommand this place in a quiet area but with bars and restaurants, not far from the beautiful lighthouse!

A very nice hotel in the middle of the street with all the few restaurants in the small town just meters away. A supermarket is also just a couple of hundred meters away. We had a very nice appartment with our own entrance from the street (like our own house) and with small outdoor place/terasse outside. The apartment had several rooms with the bathroom in between (!) that one had to pass through. A disadvantage for us who wanted to go up early and explore the island was the late and rather small breakfast. The hotel restaurant was open for dinner only some days during the week so we never got the chance to test it.

I'm a seasoned traveler and have experienced it all and this was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept in. Surprising given the cost and venue type. The bed was so soft and lumpy (must be really old??) that I could hardly sleep and if I went to far to the edge it felt like I'd fall off. Very disappointing. The toliet was not placed right -- too high off the ground and I am 5 foot 8.5 inches tall. The fan was not very powerful.....the room would be uncomfortable in hot weather. The staff was nice but did not go out of their way at all. Breakfast was good. View from our room was beautiful. Good location in town with lots of restaurants around. With some upgrades could be a gem. Too bad.

Good hotel, friendly, relaxed, bright and clean. Room was spacious. Bar next door (no noise), restaurants opposite. Breakfast was home made and very nice. Owners were friendly and helpful. Lovely village to stay in on the north end of Texel.

Nice hotel run by very friendly people. Really great breakfast from local food. Room looked to a green pasture. (Two minor issues: i. the double bed had two single mattresses instead of one double, which was a little bit uncomfortable; ii. the toilet was too high from some reason, uncomfortable. :) )
