We stayed two weeks in a bungalow (435) at the Krim park. Bungalows are different with common elements. There is also a camping and you can get chalets (with sauna). We appreciate a house with a garden, comfort and some privacy. We did get that. The house was a bit out of date in regard of furniture, it was comfortable, clean and good. The crew of the park was incredible. Very, very good indeed. Never had such an experience. No arguing when something is not quite what it should be, but see how to solve it. And really do the extra mile in order to keep the client happy. Absolutely fantastic. The restaurants are reasonable to good. Service there is good as well, very friendly and a nice atmosphere. Last night we had dinner in 'the Pavilioen': fish and steak all really nice. Well, in short, we had a great holiday. Not only isnce the island Texel is worth the time and energy and money. In this case most certainly also due tro the people of De Krim near De Cocksdorp.

Very good location for a few days of family relaxation. The place is well done- houses reasonably appointed and comfortable. Though not the most exclusive by a lot still a nice place for a short holiday. Good value for the money

I visited De Krim with my family and made the booking via Booking.com. Booking accepted my credit card (AMEX), but for some reason De Krim did not. I offered a different kind of payment (another credit card which works fine) but that was also not accepted. Finally I paid in cash, which was not expected of course. The inconvenience was one thing. But the sheer unwillingness to be cooperative was very disappointing. I will not stay there again.

Very friendly staff, great swimming pool for kids, and if you are not happy with your accommodation they will bend over backwards to make it right for you. The food is not the best but thats holiday parks for you, and there are plenty of options in the neighbourhood.

We stayed one night at De Krim in a so called 'Hotelchalet'. De Krim is a holiday park with camping places and bungalows but also has a limited number of bungalows with hotel service. The bungalow is modern and spacious with all the amenities you would expect in a four star hotel. Breakfast is delivered in your bungalow in a box through a small door that gives access to a cabinet, so they do not need to disturb you. Location at the northern side of Texel is very nice, on walking distance from the lighthouse. Due to our short stay we could not see everything the park has to offer; we tried the buffet restaurant and enjoyed the food. Only one downside for us: check-out time is at 10h00!! That may be fine when you are camping or stayed for a while at the park but not for a hotel room in winter when you just stay for one night, at least not for us. Given that the check-in time is only at 15h00 it is strange it is that early. So we definitely can recommend the place, except if you like to take your time a bit in the morning before you leave.
