Location is very good. The houses are very spacious. However, there are big differences between the view each house offers. There are some facing a beautiful pond and there are some like ours (no:127) which have a very unfortunate view overlooking a street with a big red and white "end road" sign. This of course does not give any type of "on holiday" feeling while sitting at the terrace. The fridge was not cleaned at all. It was very sticky in many places, so I had to clean it myself. The beds were twin beds in each room. A couple of times during the night, our children fell between them. Ants are a real problem and the boxes against ants they provide at the reception do not solve the problem at all. Make sure to bring your own powder or spray for the ants. No matter how clean you leave the kitchen, they walk basically everywhere. We asked for a house with a sauna. We found it very strange that the shower was on the ground floor and the sauna was on the second floor. So, you basically need to go down to take a shower and come up again which leaves the floor wet. The wifi in the houses was very good, no problem there.

We were on the isle of Texel in January, during a winter storm, to explore the dune landscapes and beaches. We rented a house at Landal Beach Park Texel and because of the bad weather we chose one of the more luxurious houses. The house was perfect: spacious, very clean, warm, and indeed luxurious. To describe some features of the house: a cozy, modern, well equipped kitchen (e.g. dish washer). A washing machine and tumble dryer are present. Every room has a television. The house we rented had many extras, such as a private steam cabin. The staff at the reception is friendly and helpful. The location of the park is very good, near the beach. A supermarket is nearby. We love the fact that all houses at the park have solar panels.

Texel is a beautiful island, raw and spacious, which is uncommon for the Netherlands. We often stay in Landal parks and this one is average. The location is nice (close to the beach). The facilities are good, but the park needs a general overhaul. We explicitly booked a renovated bungalow, which was good. Cleanliness was very poor.

We have been here twice offseason. This Landal Beach Park Texel (some of the reviews listed here are actually of the Landal Sluftervallei) is very close to de Koog and to the sea and beach. The villas are well-equipped, and very comfortable. Free wifi (not all Landal parks have free wifi). During both visits very restful. Inside the bungalows we heard nothing from outside.

Room Tip: this is not a hotel but a park with villas. Some of the villas at the eastern range of the park...

The villa is nice, location is superb. Next to the center of de koog and close to the beach. Bike rentals are closeby. For mountain bikers, there is a good track just 6 km away. The villa is good, but needs an update and a proper cleanup.
