Perfect! the best breakfast you can imagine, with more than you need. The room is clean and tidy and has a relaxing atmosphere. We did not eat in the restaurant, since we were out and about but I can just imagine that their diners are as carefully prepared as the rest of the accommodation. Host was very welcoming and cared for detail! very relaxed get away with the two of us.

My boyfriend and I spent two nights in this cozy hotel two weeks ago and would very much recommend it during your staying in De Koog. It is very conveniently located nearby the main street, all the restaurants and shops are very handy and also the beach together with its very nice foothpaths and surroundings are very close to the hotel (including bikes rental shops that are very useful since you can visit almost the whole island starting from there!!). The owner of the hotel is such a kind and gentle person who is always willing to help to make your staying as pleasant as possible, starting from breakfast which is absolutely awesome! You can find whatever you like either sweet or salty no matter whether you are looking for a traditional american style breakfast or a continental one,Fred will make everything available to make you start your day with a smile! The rooms are gorgeous as well, extremely well cleaned everyday - we were staying in a deluxe room very quiet and peaceful overlooking the hotel's yard and were provided with a Nespresso machine with a selection of different flavours that was renewed everyday. Also the bathroom is spacious and very comfortable. Last but not least the hotel also provides a well known restaurant which unfortunately we couldn't try since it is closed on tuesday and wednesday that was during our staying. This place was just such a lovely and cozy place to stay away from home! Thank you Fred!

What can I say about this hotel? We stayed in a deluxe room which is modern, large, comfortable and stylish. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home by the delightful owners. They really know how to look after their guests. We had wonderful breakfasts with a large variety of breads, savoury and sweet trimmings, a choice of cereals, fruit and juices. Something to really look forward to at the start of the day. We were also fortunate enough to find places in their small restaurant to have a meal on Easter Sunday. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is delicious. We had a well balanced meal with some great flavours and perfect wine to go alongside our menu. All this at a very reasonable price, fantastic value for money. We are looking forward to coming back very soon and can only very highly recommend both the hotel and the restaurant .

Small restaurant, great food, lovely hosts. For an evening out this place is recommendable. The menu can be chosen out of 3 starters, 3 main courses and 3 deserts. The serving is done be one of the owners, the other one is the cook. Great choose of foods

If you are in the beautiful island of Texel, you should eat at this place. It is listed as a hotel but it has a small restaurant too. The service was exceptional (one of the owners is serving) and the food was very good. Make sure that you reserve in time because it is a very small place
