There was bit of -unexpected- commotion when we opened the door of our room and it looked kinda occupied. As we seemed the only guests at the very first day of the season we were immediately offered another room. The next morning the breakfast buffet was laid out as if there were many guests, tasty and plentiful for the two...

Stayed at Hotel Valkenhof for 2 nights. Zouteland is a small beach resort with a number of bars and restaurants. Personally I think it is far nicer than the popular Domburg. Hotel is in a side street less that a minute from the main street so very centrally located and very close to the beach. This is a small hotel...

The room was so tiny that we could not open the door to the bathroom properly. even worse: when we opened the Windows it reached oder the bed. Only one person could move around, the other one had to sit on the bed to make way. Very old rooms and interior, but clean though. Breakfast was nothing special but okay...
