This is probably the worst Premier Inn we have stayed in. There is a strange disinfectant smell when you enter the corridors, similar to a retirement home for elderly need 24 hour care. Most important was the young lady behind the desk extremely helpful a very good member of staff. Worse still is the Pub, Fayre and Square, Wheatsheaf which...

Stayed after our Holiday. Polite check in . Offered rooms on either ground or first floor as there is no lift. Clean comfy room. This premier inn offers free parking. Next door to a Metro stop so handy if you want to go into central Newcastle. Decent Wheatsheaf next door.

Stayed here again last weekend. Disappointed to find no armchair in room. This is not good for people with back problems like myself!! However thinking that we may be unable to stay and have to return home,I spoke to Karen in reception who managed to find an armchair for me. Full marks Karen!!! I do think the hotel chain needs...

All the rooms are the good premier in standard but what lets this place down is the lack of management. 8.00 p.m on a Saturday night kids running around the bar area, playing pool the wacky warehouse seems to be the whole pub. No place for a quiet drink!

The hotel bedrooms appear to have been improved. The location is excellent for access to the Metro in order to travel either to the airport or the city centre. The restaurant still needs upgrading with better service and improved food quality at breakfast.

First time at this hotel and was up in the area on business. No complaints at all. Service at check in was excellent, the lady was so friendly. Room was spotlessly clean, bed comfortable and a good night sleep. Service at check out was equally friendly. Had meal in restaurant next door and again, good service, food as expected so...

1st impressions count, & the young lad who booked me & my family in was very friendly & most helpful which made the rest of the day a lot more enjoyable, his knowledge & advice of the area really helped us. The room was good value, the shower was fantastic, I would say the only drawback was the eating place...

We have stayed here on many occasions so know what to expect and are never disappointed. Prefer to stay in the purpose built extension but you know what you're getting so good enough for the purpose of our visits.

This is about the third time we've stayed at this premier lodge and it continues to be very good. Whilst all premier lodges tend to be the same this one stands out for the friendliness of the staff. The welcome you get is always good, the helpfulness is always the same. However, the sad thing for me is the Wheatsheaf...
