Lifting off or touching down? Premier Inn Newcastle Airport will give you the smoothest start or end to your journey. We're only 200 metres from the airport and the Newcastle Metro, so getting to and from where you need to be is a doddle. If you're doing business, you'll be pleased to know Kingston Park and Gosforth Business Park are close by so you won't have far to go to your super comfy, king-size bed and a tempting dinner at our on-site restaurant.

The hotel itself was very good. The only issue I had was in respect to the lack of lighting on the foot path between the hotel and the airport terminal. Most people were using there iPhones as torches to see were they were going but I do not have one! At 4.30am lighting is a necessity!

Fantastic place to stay right near the airport. you will hear a few planes in and out but that didn't spoil our sleep. Restaurant serves very good food staff are very friendly. Reception staff are polite and very friendly. We will be staying here again

We stayed in room 20 and the noise from outside our window was there 24 hours I think they were extractor fans so we were unable to open the window to get fresh air and it was a particularly warm day.

Stayed for 1 night before our flight, check in friendly and quick. Given room 8, ground floor usual Premier Inn standard. Only complaint was the window left open by cleaners that morning so the room was freezing cold when we arrived and there were a couple of flies in. Booked the meal deal, dinner was delicious, breakfast was nice before heading to the airport. All in all good hotel, fab location for airport and metro station. Would stay again.

We stayed here last week for one night before our early flight the next morning. We always choose Premier Inn as its always comfortable and just what we need. Great location for the airport. Beds were really comfortable. Considering you're so close to the airport, you can't hear anything. Fantastic stay!

Overnight stay before our early flight the next day. We dined in the restaurant which was lovely and great atmosphere in the bar. Our room was just as expected, comfortable and clean exactly what we needed for our short stay. Staff at the desk were very helpful at check in and check out. 2 minute walk to the airport so ideal location! We will always use this hotel before our holidays.

Hotel is in an excellent for the airport. It is literally over the road and can walk to it. The room was great for us as a base for a very early morning flight with 2 young kids. We were able to get our heads down for a few hours before we needed to leave at 2am. The on site restaurant was also a great bonus to get a decent meal. On the slightly negative side, the room, or more so the bathroom was slightly tired, however did the job perfectly well. As above the hotel is straight across the road from the airport, you can hear all of the planes taking off. This wasn’t an issue for us or the kids at all but if you want a quiet night sleep you perhaps need to think about sleeping further away. Finally, the staff weren’t too helpful when it came to a request to help with sterilising my baby’s bottles and weren’t too helpful but it wasn’t the end of the world. In summary, an excellent base for the airport with negative points more so left for the benefit of other travellers who might find these things a factor for their choice in hotel.

My elderly mum had a significant flood in the bathroom overnight. Reported to reception at 3.45am where she was berated for not reporting it sooner. When we checked out the same receptionist didn’t speak to us at all.

Don’t stay in room 1. It was the only room available so I had no choice. Shaken out of my sleep several times due to what sounded like doors banging against the wall of my room. Guests walking around in the room above sounded like they were walking on their heels, then at 6:30am delivery lorries with reversing alarms right next to my window. Guests cars parked within touching distance of my window so didn’t feel safe leaving it open. No chance of a room change, I’d already been told. Car park charge of £7 waived but refused refund under no sleep guarantee because they expected me to go and tell them every time I was woken up so they could check if a guest had checked out overnight. So, unless you physically get up and go to reception so they can tell you there are no free rooms in the middle of the night, you’re not entitled to a refund under the GUARANTEE!!! Shocking! On the positive side, the staff in the hotel and in the restaurant were lovely. I’d never use Premier Inn again now as they really could give a damn about their sleep policy. Very poor!

Hotel was perfectly located for our early morning flight. Being so close to Newcastle Airport was brilliant for us to check our cases in the evening before & again, just a 5 minute walk in the morning after a cheerful check out with the receptionists. Room clean & practically appointed as usual with Premier Inn.
