We had our wedding day in November at Salford Hall and it was faultless. From the moment we first met Lizzie and Ellie we knew we were in good hands. They ensured everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble for them. This is a gorgeous venue and we definitely recommend it to all future bride and grooms.

Been here now a few times and always have really enjoyable stay, so keep coming back. This time spent the weekend at Salford Hall, beautiful rooms, lovely welcoming staff (Lizzie is fantastic) and great food... oh yes and quiz night Fridays, what's not to like. I recommend the day out in Stratford, river trip is great followed by RSC (hotel arranged taxis - brilliant!). Also a trip out to Broadway is a good way to spend a Sunday, nice shops and lovely pubs!

Indian Head Massage and reflexology treatments with Emma at Salford Karma were excellent. Would definitely love to have them again in the future. Relaxing surroundings which were clean and well maintained and lovely music to complement the therapy. Thanks Emma

Where do I begin? I should apologise to the wonderful staff at Karma Salford Hall, because this review is months overdue - I’m so sorry! I got married here on the 3rd of June 2023. Now let me tell you, these guys saved our wedding! We were originally supposed to be wed at the Three Ways (Pudding Club) in Mickleton. However, due to reasons that I cannot disclose, we were unable to marry there. This was about a month before the wedding, so I am sure you can imagine that everyone’s stress levels skyrocketed through the roof. The main reason I was upset is because my father is elderly and now rather poorly. I lost my mother 6 years ago and I wanted to get married while at least one of my parents was still with us. Had we delayed the wedding anymore, my father would have struggled to walk me down the aisle. So, we began urgently hunting down another venue for our wedding. We spoke to Lizzie, the manager of Karma Salford Hall, and we were so elated and relieved when she said that we could get married there on the same day! After putting the main pieces in place (notice of marriage etc), we met with Lizzie at the venue. As we drove up to Karma Salford Hall, my jaw dropped as I was blown away by how beautiful it looked. Even entering the reception, I felt a feeling of excitement and giddiness which I never got with the Pudding Club. We spoke with Lizzie to put all the finer details in place. Like all the other staff we met, she was wonderful and so committed to making us happy. At a later date, we met with Keeleigh, the wedding planner. She was also wonderful and you could see that she was excited for us. I cannot sing Lizzie and Keeleighs praises enough! They were so passionate and devoted to our wedding day. I have never experienced customer service like this. Nothing was any trouble for them and they will always have a special place in my heart because they saved our wedding day! I will end this review by telling you how perfect my wedding day was. Everything was super smooth and I could not have asked for anything better. The food was delectable, the staff were brilliant, the venue exuded beauty and class and everyone was happy and smiling. You really do need to visit Karma Salford Hall, and if you are looking for a wedding venue, this will surpass your expectations in every single way. Thank you all so much, Mrs Wride xx

Well this is our second stat at a Karma group property, and we stayed for 4 nights at Karma Salford Hall. We finished our last night with a gorgeous dinner of steak, ale and mushroom pie , followed by a trio of ice cream for Ian and I had the tastiest Smoked salmon, with a salad of lettuce, avocado and pumpkin seed, with a honey mustard dressing, followed by a delicate Eton Mess. It was all so incredibly tasty. But Karma Salford Hall - what can we say, it's been wonderful. The staff, as ever, Elise, Adrian , Ella, Bal and so many others, greeted us like we were coming home and thought nothing of me wearing my slippers to breakfast, the bar and everywhere in between, like I was at home, this ancient, gorgeous building with so much history and rumours of friendly spirits around. It's location is in Salford which was divided into Salford Major and Minor by Edward the Confessor in the 1100s. Lady Godiva ( you know her of riding naked on horseback fame) got the Major bit and the Benedictine Monks from Evesham Abbey got the Minor bit. However, drum roll, bad guy of the day King Henry VIII came along and seized the Abbey and lands and sold it to his buddy Sir Philip Hobbie in 1538. Roll on just 9 years to 1547 and Sir Philip sold it on to Anthony Littleton for the princely sum of £891/10 (shillings for you younger ones!). Littletons daughter and heiress married John Aldeford but then died, and so her widower Aldeford married Elizabeth Dormer in 1579 and the beautiful Salford Hall passed on down through various noble Warwickshire families. It remained amongst those Catholic families for a while. It even had a priest hole ( you can see it in the photos). There is also a rumor there is a tunnel from the priest hole under the Hall to the nearby church, but that hasn't been found yet. Jump on a few centuries to John Spence, owner of the Karma Group who found it after squatters had stripped the place bare and trashed it. He bought it, restored it, replaced a lot of original furniture, had it blessed so the friendly spirits could go and be friendly somewhere else and here we are today. In Summary, this place is beautiful, staff are 100% committed to their jobs and go the extra mile, food is glorious and the cost is reasonable. Want to explore the Cotswolds? I would come here every time.

We had a great overnight stay as part of our karma discovery experience. So much history to explore. Great games room and comfy bar. We noticed a name engraved in the glass outside room 3 on the first floor and would love to know more. about it. Think it was dated 1846. Thank you for a lovely stay

Trying hard but falling short, unfortunately. We came here on a deal offer if we sat in a pitch meeting for the Kama group. The main house is very impressive from the outside and some of the inside (can't comment on the bedrooms as we were in the stable rooms opposite) nice little bar, games room etc.. as we had the dog we were only allowed to eat in the conservatory which needs updating. Breakfast was a small choice of pastry, meats, cheese and basic cereals etc. You can buy cooked but for the cost we had chosen not to. The staff team were very friendly, and did their best to accommodate any needs we had. But as for our room.... desperately needs attention. I fully understand this is a listed building but I really couldn't relax as walls were literally paper thin. Windows didn't shut properly bathroom needs an updating. The surrounding area is beautiful, plenty of places to visit and lovely places to eat, in particular dog friendly places I recommend are the 'broom hall' & the moat nearby. In summary if I was paying 'full price' we would of left and found somewhere else but if you are taking the deal chance it and enjoy the cotswolds.

We came to Karma Salford Hall on a 3 night stay on a fantastic offer. Food was good with great service both at dinner and breakfast. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The “go an extra mile” approach was very obvious when I saw a lady (I think manager) sitting with a guest booking her things online in the restaurant - great to see!!! Also room was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

First impressions were promising , a beautiful hotel , friendly , helpful staff but there was 'something' not quite right with this hotel .Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet but needs new curtains and a headboard .The continental breakfast was very nice and plenty on offer. Dinner was nothing like the photos on the website , a poor menu and very poor quality especially the steak which was tough and poorly cooked . This opinion was shared by our fellow diners. This is like a hotel that is trying very hard to improve and had some of the signs but it badly needs to be managed better. The 'manager 'was friendly but quite flippant in attitude , chewing gum in the dining room , having loud fun in the kitchen !! and the worst was on our last night. The manager was off duty but was partying with family in- house. At midnight the staff were out in the patio area "off duty" and were having a few drinks when the 'manager' stormed through the bar area, went to the staff outside and was heard shouting at them to "shut the f**k up" with little regard for the customers in the bar .I have worked as a manager myself and was appaled by this 'managers lack of management skills and general demeaner. This hotel has the potential to be great but lots of work needs to done .

We stayed at the Karma Salford Hall for the Summer Bank Holiday weekend in Aug. Our overall experience has had it's highs and lows. Highs: The property is very well kept, extremely neat and tidy, food is good as well. Majority of the staff were really nice and warm. BUT, here comes the low: Majority of the guests were from the experienced generation and while one can expect them to be rather warm and friendly, we experience the opposite. We had very specifically told the hotel management we are travelling with a 20 months old baby, and yet when I went to ask one of the receptionist to help me in getting my baby's food warmed, they weren't happy about doing so and told me off saying "we don't do it normally and doing it just as an exception this time". One of the elderly guests made a passing comment on us "this place is very noisy this time" and worst was by the guests housing in the room right above ours. They randomly threw things on the floor making thudding nose for us on the ground floor from 9ish PM at night for 30-45 mins due to which the baby got so scared and become unsettled that we couldn't get a single night of peaceful sleep, and on top of that complained about us being noisy. While it's not entirely under the control of the management how their guests behave, but the only reason to share this experience is, may be something to consider for both the hotel management and the guests, which time of the year which category of guests to attract. Also there is nothing at all to do for young kids, but a huge lawn is still a big plus to run around :)
