Had a two-night stay as part of a fishing trip. Very welcoming staff, lovely breakfast and excellent atmospheric bar for pub suppers. Perhaps a little tired but in a good way - think of a favourite armchair! I’ll be back.

My mother and I called, sadly for one night only,on the way back to Yorkshire from our latest Outer Hebridean Adventure (at Port of Ness). Quite simply, this is a marvellous place to stay. The rooms are pristine, food is excellent,Real Ale is well-kept and delicious and finally the hospitality......second to none (in both our opinions) Gareth and his team are ALL tuned-in brilliantly, always helpful, polite and courteous (nothing is too much trouble, this was our 5th visit and it's always been such). Can't wait to return, hopefully in the not-too-distant future.

We were exploring carrbridge and the Cairn Hotel was the only place doing lunch. We were a little disappointed because we’d been told to try the Carrbridge Hotel, but it was closed. The disappointment was short lived! It was by far the best meal we ate in Carrbridge. Helpful staff and amazing food and all at a very reasonable price. I hope to return to Carrbridge as it’s such a beautiful place and will absolutely stop by for more of the amazing food!

I don't even know where to begin, this has to be one of the best places I have had the pleasure of staying. Firstly dog friendly is an understatement, my 1 year old jorkie has been suitably adored and spoiled. I mean he is very handsome! The staff are second to none. I have a few disabilities and a neurological disorder which affects my memory and movement. I got my check out days confused and the owner was so kind and understanding, putting no pressure on me or adding a late check out fee. The rooms are lovely and clean, beds are very comfortable. There are a few stairs so wouldn't recommend for wheelchair users. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced. Bus stop right across the road to aviemore and Inverness. Overall my fur baby and I have had the best time and we will be back again next year!

Fabulous hotel. Staff so friendly. Very clean and observant of Covid regs. Food excellent. Room dated but very functional. We had a lovely time. Great walks from the door. Fergus out 5 month old puppy loved staying here. Very dog friendly. Thank you for a great stay. Just what we needed after having our old doggie PTS last week. Total relaxation.
