My son and I stayed a few weeks ago; had a great time. Very friendly team of staff, clean rooms, good atmosphere on Sat night, great bar supper using local ingredients. Excellent quality Real Ales and a fantastic choice. Highly recommend both staying and eating. We will definitely return.

We hired the private room for our Golden Wedding celebration last Sunday. It was decorated beautifully and the table looked lovely with the flowers at the centre. There were 15 of us. Everyone said how delicious the food was. Gareth and his staff are so obliging and friendly. The menu had something to suit everyone, even some picky children. The... More

Me and my partner nipped in for a quick cuppa and toilet break but ended up eating here. We walked in and had a brief 'American Werewolf in London' moment. However, the gentleman behind the bar came out and warmly greeted us. We sat, were given menus and ordered drinks which came out very quickly. We ordered our food which... More

This was a great place to spend a night as we passed through the area. The room was fairly basic, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom adequate. Breakfast was well done. We also had dinner in the restaurant and we were impressed with both the quality of the food and the service. Great job. Thank you.

Went here for dinner with my colleague from work. The food was fantastic! Tempura prawns and chips cooked to perfection. A lovely cheese selection where the blue cheese (which I normally don't like) was actually the standout of the four. I'd definitely return if only to continue to sample the dessert menu!

I enjoyed a short lunch stop here so have not sampled everything the Cairn has to offer but on the basis on what I had I'd recommend it. Welcoming staff and a plate of fish and chips amongst the best I've every had washed down with a very tasty pint of Nessie.

Stopped here for lunch recently after a visit to the nearby Landmark. Warm and welcoming place with very friendly staff and great food at very good prices. The open fire was burning well and the place was busy, obviously a good sign. A short walk from the Landmark with a much better selection of food, easy to pop to for... More

Just needed a Family room, sleeping 4, for one night. Lovely wee place. Decor may be slightly dated, but over all very comfortable, spacious Room. More floor space than a Premier Inn. Breakfast lovely, with local produce, all cooked to order. Definitely value for money .Would recommend.

Relaxed homely vibe to this place, the rooms were clean, great food and staff. For the price it was truly worth it. Dog friendly too. Only negative would be the room we were in (spey) was quite noisy around 11pm - midnight due to everyone walking past to go to there rooms.
