Christine and Michael love what they do. On arrival you are greeted warmly and offered tea and biscuits in the community lounge. Our room was spotless and overlooked the road at the front of the B and B. We took up the opportunity to dine in house (Michael is a chef)and we were served a delicious dinner. My husband enjoyed... I had a lovely stay a Carrmoor, nothing was too much trouble for the owners Christine & Michael. From a warm welcome, generous food, warm, comfortable and spotless rooms nothing could be better. it is obvious from the conversations in the dining room that many guests come year after year, and the feeling is of staying with friends and family... Great place to stay with attention to detail outstanding. Fantastic little village. Hosts couldn't be more helpful, they even offer an evening dinner. Definitely recommend this place and would have no hesitation in coming back. Thanks Christine and Michael.

Our first stay and hopefully many more in the future. There was a good feeling from the start when Christine took my telephone booking. We were greeted with a warm welcome by both Christine and Michael. The room was spacious and immaculate, like the rest of the house. We certainly didn't expect such a variety on the menu for both... Haven't reviewed carrmoor since 2013 even though we've stayed 1 night on our way up to friends and 1 night on our way back for about 10yrs. The rooms are all exceptionally clean, bright, and well appointed. We've stayed in them all except no 2 but I'm sure it is the same. The food is always delicious whatever you choose,... More

Great small hotel, surely it's more than just a guest house. One of the few to have a restaurant serving dinner in the evenings and a chef as owner! Meal was a delight and service was perfect. Arrived on the day of the Scottish Chainsaw Wood Carving competition so village was very busy and it was really helpful to be... More

Another fantastic stay at Carrmoor, the hospitality from Christine and Micheal make you feel so welcome, it is like coming home. We had our usual room, which we love. Large fluffy towels, so clean and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble, and the knowledge that they know regarding the area is wonderful. The food once again is better than the... More

We stayed for one night whilst doing a bike ride from Glasgow to Inverness, we arrived early covered in mud and dripping wet to a lovely warm welcome. We were refreshed with any amount of tea and biscuits, not only was our room nicely decorated and spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed I've slept in the rest of the... More
