Stayed for 4 nights. The owners Tracy and Steve made us feel really welcomed throughout our stay, often going above and beyond what they needed to. The hotel is an old hunting lodge, has plenty of character and a well-stocked bar. Our room was spacious with a modern bathroom. It was really quiet which gave us a superb sleep each night. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Coffee was the best we had had in Scotland.. Can't wait to go back

Stayed here for 4 nights. The hosts, Steve and Tracy who have only owned the hotel a short time, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Lovely breakfasts and comfortable accommodation with a nice bathroom The former hunting lodge once hosted King George 4th ,dates from the 1840s and sits besides the Dulnain River. Perfect location for exploring the cairngorms national park. Near to Aviemore, Inverness and in easy reach of LochNess. Situated adjacent to a golf course. Lots of nice walks in the immediate area We would highly recommend and will definitely return .

We are a family of 5 and stayed at Dalrachney lodge for two nights. We really enjoyed the warm welcome of Tracey and Steve. They recently took over the place, but it looks like they have been running it since a long time. Dalrachney is a nice cosy, warm and quiet lodge with a very nice Scottish hunting style. Quiet and peaceful place with some easy nice walks in the surroundings along the river and in the pine Forrest. Wonderful breakfast as well !!! We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend the place.

We stayed here with our grandson to go to nearby Landmark woodland adventure site. The hotel is a small, beautiful and cosy old hunting lodge. Our hosts had only taken over a week ago and, although as they admitted they were finding their feet, made us very welcome. Nothing was too much bother for them. They gave us info on walks and places to see in the area. It would have been even better to have had an evening meal with them but under the circumstances we could understand. Evening meals will be offered in the not too distant future. There is a well stocked resident's bar and a lovely guest lounge. The bathrooms in the rooms are amazing! Breakfasts are very good, with a great selection. Our hosts made sure our grandson was happy with the choices on offer. We shall definitely return , when evening meals are available, and explore the many walks in the area.

Myself and two friend had a great stay at the Lodge. Our rooms were large and comfortable and our baths were each phenomenal. We had a lovely view over the garden and off to the countryside in the distance. We could hear the nearby river rushing by with the windows open which was lovely. The new owners were so kind and accommodating and offered an incredible breakfast. Great spot to base yourself for the Cairngorms.

We travel widely and found the standards maintained by this country hotel to be exceptional. Quality fittings throughout. Immaculate presentation. Quiet and sophisticated. Pleasant grounds. Absolutely first class service. This kind of quality is more associated with 5 & 6 star hotels.

Dalrachney Lodge Hotel is a phenomenal hotel. It perfectly combines an old world setting (your picture prefect country home) with modern luxury. Many of the bathrooms have been renovated, and the decorations and food are impeccable. I came for silence and relaxation but got that and much more. I met the wonderful couple who runs Dalrachney, plus their sweet dog Archie, and I discovered a part of the world I'll hope to return to again and again -- while staying at the Dalrachney, of course. Some in the reviews have complained that music isn't played at the bar or during breakfast. Certainly, I suspect the owners would be open to it. They're accommodating people. But, personally, I loved the quiet, having grown tired of the omnipresent music at most hotels, and I appreciate the owners' respect for the natural setting with its bird-calls and nearby river (which can be heard from your room). If you're a solo-traveler like I was, seeking to get away and explore the outdoors without a car (there are miles of hikes nearby), you could do absolutely no better than the Dalrachney Lodge Hotel.

Great spot to start discovering the Cairngorms. Booking this trip and hotel was a last minute thing but we sure made the right choice. We had a nice big room, really friendly service and welcoming staff and a great breakfast. Definitely worth booking/coming again.

I stayed at the Dalrachney Lodge together with 4 other members of a foto group hunting for photos in East Scotland. We enjoyed one week in big, every clean rooms, very satisfying breakfast selections and the two great hosts Trixie and Gordon, and - not to forget - Archie, the Dog. I felt very welcome in the lodge.
