We were travelling with Newmarket Holidays. The hotel is old needs refurbishing. The room we were given was like going into the black hole. Got it changed reception were helpful. Next room had bigger window so lighter although looking at the bins!! The bathroom had been renewed pity the bedroom hadn't. Didn't have to go down to entertainment so loud...

An average hotel that met all our needs on a recent bus tour with Newmarket holidays. The hotel is old but that does not detract from the service and staff. Food homely. Floorboards and beds very creaky. Great entertainment at night. The old bridge is a bonus.

Stayed here with a trip going around Scotland through Newmarket holidays. Housekeeping superb, very clean rooms with fresh towels everyday. The room we had, had lovely views, however room was slightly dated. Restaurant food was lovely, however restaurant manager seemed think he could do everything when there were lots of other staff quite capable so delays with ordering meals. Waiting...

Having attended several "immersive dining experiences" (I know) in London, The Carrbridge Hotel effortlessly wins hands down: The entire experience, though especially the dining room, is a faithful albeit unintentional recreation of a Fawlty Towers-style seventies hotel. The manic waiting staff had us, on a couple of occasions, laughing out loud, with orders being ignored, muddled or duplicated, to be...

Hotel very old and outdated. Stairs to room very uneven and frankly quite unsafe. Floorboards in bedroom creaked relentlessly!! One out of three reception staff helpful, the others just didn't want to be bothered about sorting the problem we had with a blocked toilet. Bed, like sleeping on a table it was so hard. Food very average. Needless to say...

Hotel staff very helpful. Meals quite good if vegetables cooked a bit longer. (Can ask for them to be cooked longer but did not notice difference) Rooms very good and clean. We were allocated room 422 and when my wife sat on toilet the seat was broken and she slipped off. The staff offer another room but having settled in...

Like many others we were with a group that travelled with Newmarket holidays and it would seem that many others have trodden this same path. The food borders on mass catering but that said was still of an acceptable standard. The beds and floorboards however were awful ... they creaked more than my granny's knees !!

Warm welcome with a real fire in lobby, rooms ok had a double bed with en-suite average nothing special, the big let down was with the meals, they had a set menu, how can you class a very small bowl of soup, one slice of meat a cauliflower floret that was hard and a sliced carrot piece, next night was...
