Great accommodation. Everything you could need for self catering in a quiet and beautiful setting. Easy access to walking, cycling , water sports. Well maintained and clean. 5 min walk into village for basic amenities.
The Fairwinds Chalets are well equipped, clean and ample room for 6 people (3 adults/3 teenagers). We stayed in the Willow which was lovely, with it's own picnic bench in the outdoor area where we had a couple of barbeques and comfy seats on the decking. The setting is beautiful, peaceful and calm. Lovely forest walks on the doorstep. Landmark only a 5 minute walk. Aviemore is a short 10 minute drive away where there are lots of activities/restaurants etc. All together a wonderful staycation in a beautiful part of the country. Would recommend and will definitely return.
Second time staying in Silver Birch cabin with our dog , facilities excellent, very clean and well equipped. Weather was fantastic. Beautiful scenery and great walks on the doorstep. Definitely be back ☺
Lovely part of the world, and the chalets set in lovely hotel grounds with lawns running down to a tiny lochan and adjoining a lovely ancient wood with heather blooming below the trees and a variety of signposted walks - just step through a gate in the fence from the chalets and you're in another world. Loads of great things to do in the area - and worth knowing that the local pub can do a takeaway service. Our chalet was small and basic as you'd expect, but also cosy, comfortable and nicely maintained - we needed nothing more for an outdoorsy exploration of the many things the area has to offer
Great property and location. Nice and relaxing. Close to Aviemore and local adventures. Great owners, very helpful and accommodating. Covid advice very useful. Would definite return for another holiday.
