In this stunning home on an overlook of crashing waves lives the most beautiful soul. Carol and her late husband Bill built their home with love and everywhere you look it shows. Breathtaking views from every window and a warm and loving atmosphere from the hug she greeted us with to the beautiful breakfast. Anyone planning to be in the...

We arrived in Yarmouth having taken the CAT ferry from Portland Maine. It was late in the evening and dark but the directions on the web site were perfect. Carol the proprietor had told us we should expect to arrive at her home around 10:00pm that evening. Carol met each of us at the front door with a hug. Her...

My wife and I stayed at A la Maison d'Amitie on the night of July 15, 2016. At first we had a difficult time finding the location as the signs did not standout and my GPS didn't quite find the location. In the end the directions on the B&B website should be printed out and followed. Once we arrived, A...

Carol was amazing, almost more amazing than the breathtaking views she's provided to her guests for so many years. The area was not hard to get to, the house and grounds very charming, and the amenities plentiful, including a lovely breakfast. But the hostess is truly a gem, and even after having cooked breakfast, she encouraged interaction with us and...

The best and only good thing of this B&B is the breathtaking picture/advertisement of the house. Pretty much two places you suppose to stay under Carol's roof; i.e, your own room and outside of the house on the deck. The moment we entered the house, Carol's daughter gave us house rules, must wear socks or slippers not to damaging the...

You have a nice view over the bay of fundy and you can hear the sea while you fall asleep. We received a very warm welcome and a five star service...

The location is amazing -- it is as spectacular as the pictures on the website. The view at sunset, sitting on the deck, takes your breath away. Host is very friendly & helpful with recommendations for restaurants & tourist spots -- both in the immediate area & our continuing trip. Room and ensuite are good size & well appointed; breakfast...

Awesome was our entry in the guest book. From the stupendous views from atop the 125 foot cliffs towards the Digby Arm and across the open ocean, to the sightings of eagles and hawks and other wildlife from the breakfast table, the memorable breakfast, the beautiful furnishings and touches in this purpose built home, the fascinating geology and comfortable first...

We stayed one night...we should have stayed longer...One of the most beautiful settings..reminded me so much of the Big Sur. The hostess could not have been more gracious or genuinely sincere and welcoming. Our breakfast was lovely. This was truly the best lodging experience of our ten days in Nova Scotia. If you have the opportunity to be in this part...
