Stayed two nights in late August. Started each day with freshly brewed coffee delivered to our room at 7am. An incredible breakfast was prepared by our hosts at Yesteryear B&B for 8:30am. Gilles (from France) and Danielly (from Costa Rica) have been welcoming guests from all over the world for four years. Fresh scones baked this morning, a fresh fruit crepe and a ham and cheese omelette, roasted potato and toast served in a beautifully restored dining room was a satisfying way to begin a Saturday. On Sunday breakfast featured freshly scrambled eggs with all the trimmings plus the scones and fresh fruite crepe.
We learned about the history of their home and interesting guests while we ate breakfast. 2020 has been a quiet year with CoVid, no Europeon visitors nor any via the Cat from the USA. We had stayed in this same B&B in 2006 and so happy to have returned again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Yesteryears B&B. Gilles and Danielly welcomed us warmly, showed us to our large, clean and very comfortable room, and made us feel very at home. Gilles also gave us recommendations for dinner. After a very good night’s sleep we were treated to an amazing breakfast - a freshly made crepe filled with fresh fruit, juice, toast, a delicious omelette, cake, and coffee. After being isolated with COVID-19 restrictions for the past several months, it was such a treat to enjoy conversation with such an interesting couple. Thanks for making our stay so special.

Destination Pubnico ? Where to stay ? - Yesteryears Bed and Breakfast - look no farther!
Gilles and Danielly were such gracious host / hostess. They very much practiced COVID19 health protocols and made the " new normal" as close to normal as possible. Such an enjoyable stay with interesting conversation .
Accomadation was spotless and the breakfast was , well , wow!
Our departure was not with a good bye , but rather: au revoir.

Pubnico is very fortunate to have such a classy BnB in their community. A beautiful home and great large rooms. The breakfast was superior with above and beyond service. So nice to have the chance to talk with the owners and purchase some art work. With recommendations for places to have supper, which were great. Can't wait to go back!

Gilles and Danielly are wonderful hosts who are keen to meet (and exceed) guest expectations. We stayed two nights in a very spacious room with a very comfortable bed and all we wanted. The nutritional breakfasts were an excellent culinary experience. We would happily return!

We loved our stay at Yesteryears! Sue was the perfect host, making us feel very welcome and cooking a delicious breakfast. Our room was large and comfortable and the B&B was ideally situated near the historic Acadien Village. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Nova Scotia.

My husband and I stayed here for a night before taking the Nova Star ferry back to the United States. We arrived quite late but Sue said there was an open restaurant not too far away, gave us directions, and said she would take care of the registration when we got back. We found our room to be very large, including large bathroom, with the most comfortable bed of our 3-week trip. Since we had to be at the ferry dock early in the morning, Sue was kind enough to get up and fix the most delicious breakfast for us. We loved everything about this wonderful B&B and only wish we could have stayed longer.

We were surprised to find that the reviews we read all referred to the previous owners. We stayed here for 3 nights and wish it could have been longer. Gilles is a thoughtful, uber attentive host, a professional chef, and an interesting, multi-faceted individual who has an amazing first-hand knowledge of the extended area. He and his wife, who was away sourcing fabrics and other items with which to refresh the bnb, are sure to surpass Yesteryears previous accomplishments! Gourmet breakfast, homemade baking to take on your day's outing, spotless accommodation, comfy bed, parking etc. And please don't miss the Farmer's Dairy ice cream stand on the corner! Thanks Gilles!

We chose to situate ourselves close to the Acadian village reconstruction on the peninsula at Pubnico SW of Yarmouth on a recent tour of Nova Scotia. We spent two nights at this lovely
bed and breakfast. Our room was very large with a sitting area and ensuite bathroom. The room was decorated with antiques and lovely quilts. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, the area very quiet so we slept well. Sue is a charming hostess. She made us a filling breakfast and inquired about any dietary restrictions, likes or dislikes. She also knew what to recommend as to the two restaurants in the area available for dinner and their closing times. A wonderful B & B!
