We camped for free here the night before we bicycled over Lolo Pass. They allow bicyclist to camp for free on the spacious lawn behind the store. Use of the bathrooms was free as well. Wonderful warm showers were well worth the $5. The store is well stocked. The restaurant serves decent food. I really enjoyed the huckleberry pancake.

The restaurant is very comfortable and friendly. The breakfast menu is extremely good. we split an order of an omelet with a plate size huckleberry pancake and had more than we needed. We did not stay at the lodge, rather toured over to Idaho from Lolo and the trip was beautiful

The staff is amazing here, and the lodge itself is beautiful, and the food is terrific. The cabins themselves are clean and comfortable, and in the process of being updated. Some of the cabins do rely on wood heat, so check with them first if that is going to be a problem for you. The lodge does offer wifi, but... More

Located along the Lochsa River, more than sixty miles from "civilisation", rustic but comfortable cabins... It's a perfect place if you like to relax in nature. Good food offered by the Cafe/restaurant. Very friendly staff.

We've eaten here many times; and the food is very good as well as the service. When riding Hwy. #12, we never fail to stop. Stayed here in a cabin once, and it was also very nice. Awesome building, views, and setting. Eat inside or outside. Have booked cabins for next year.
