We recently drove from Missoula to Lochsa Lodge for lunch and the service was TERRIBLE. Two couples sat down after us and they were served food before we even received our menus!! Yes, the view is fantastic, but if you're hungry or looking for a wait staff who cares - drive the other direction to Polson or Holland Lake Lodge...

As we were passing by a couple years ago, we went in for some gas and a drink. It looked so inviting that we decided to come back this June. We stayed in unit 16 for two nights over Father's Day weekend. It was clean, the beds were so comfy, as were the pillows. The bathroom offered a wonderful shower...

We staid here on a trip to Montana. we got a room in the upper lodge. The room was great. It had a great bed, was clean and had god pressure in the shower. We were on the far end of the upper lodge so we looked away from the rest of the buildings onto a large grass area. The...

Stopped over for one night. Nice little room with deck. Warm welcome and excellent service for our dinner, which was delicious. Very good wine and beer selections. Left before breakfast, so can't comment on that, but there were huckleberry pancakes on offer.

The cabins back right up to the forest and the first morning we had a whitetail right outside our cabin. The service here...

This was our first time staying at the lodge. The cabins are cozy and clean!!! The king size bed was so comfortable that I slept like I was at home😀 We have had several meals there and the food is always delicious! The portions are generous and many have huckleberries which is a local favorite. The staff is extremely friendly...

The scenery along Highway 12 from Lewiston, Idaho, east to Montana is incredibly beautiful. Lochsa Lodge is tucked right in the woods, next to the river, about 60 west of Missoula. We just spent one night there, but would loved to have stayed longer. The cabins were clean and comfortable, the lodge has a nice restaurant and great little bar....

“Cabin 2A is the best. It's an individual cabin with a nice little fireplace, front porch, close to the river and right behind the lodge. It has been upgraded to a king bed configuration and has a nice bathroom.”
