We stayed here for 2 weeks commencing 6th October. We did a late booking with Thomsons and got a really good deal. We reached the apartments between 2 and 3 pm after a relatively short drive from Heraklion Airport. The coach drops off on the main road and it is a short walk to the apartments. There is a sign...

Let me start by saying that I have never refused to stay in a hotel before. This hotel was the exception to the rule. After being dropped off at the side of a busy road, we were directed to to walk 100m down a dark lane to find the hotel. We found it fairly easily as it was just a...

We arrived last week of the season so the resort was quiet on the upside good weather plenty of peace and space around the pool.the atmosphere is lovely the staff are attentive and the bar food including breakfast is great value and of a good variety. I'd thoroughly recommend staying here no complaints :-).

Very nice from the outside, friendly staff, swimming pool. Bathrooms have to be renovated and bed linen better washed. Beds are not very comfortable, table for eating is too small for 4 people. Very nice courtyard with lemon tree and little table, you can also eat outside. All in all it is a fine accomodation, perfect for visiting archeological sites...

We returned to the U.K. on 6th Oct, having had a super relaxing fortnight here. Lovely ,laid back , laid back, un-pushy. This was everything that we look for on a greek holiday. The start of most days was,for me--a pre-breakfast swim in the pool, while my husband goes for a walk to get bread yogurt and fruit for our...

My partner and I have just returned from 10 days at the Ourania. This small complex is perfect for a chilled out break, set in beautifully kept gardens, with a pool and a bar which serves breakfast and lunch. The appartments and the facilities are spotlessly clean and well looked after. Our one bedroom appartment (no 119) had a kitchen...

Just spent a great week here and cannot fault a thing with Ourania. The facilities, bar, pool and surroundings are the best. Clean rooms, olive trees, plenty of chairs and loungers for all. Costas, Stella and the (sorry didn't remember her name) smiley lady preparing food could not have done more for us. The evening barman was equally helpful and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
There’s a lot to be said for a small, peaceful hotel. If you’re looking to really chill out, you won’t get much peace at a bustling mega hotel. So that’s where the Ourania Apartments come in.You won’t find a huge resort packed with guests, but that’s its charm. What you do get is pin-drop peace and quiet, along with a bit of good old fashioned Greek hospitality. ... more   less
