Since being lucky enough to find this hotel,we now stay regularly when we travel from Calais to the Gers and back again. It is inexpensive, clean and well managed. The owners and staff are both welcoming and professional. We invariably eat in the restaurant which is of an excellent standard. The restaurant can often be busy with non resident locals so...

We have stayed here before. This visit showed what a very good hotel it is - deserves its Logis rating. Our room was large and very comfortable and well equipped. Dinner was outstanding with good choice and very reasonably priced. The quality of the produce and of the cooking was at a very high level - a memorable meal. Breakfast...

We were staying at this hotel during a business trip during the week. Hotel rooms are clean, the breakfast was "French" like, good price performance ratio. I had hotels in France for higher price and less quality.

Salbris is not a bad spot to break a journey between the Channal and the lower regions of France.. We had booked a superior room and were rewarded with a very large room with a six foot bed looking out onto the grounds. An en suite had been carved out of the side of the room and had been updated...

Rooms clean and spacious. The food was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Were very happy to help us with an extra bed in our room so our 21 year old special needs son could share our room!! Would recommend the hotel.

I don't understand all the positive reviews about this hotel, in general the rooms are spacious and clean, and the location is also acceptable. However if you'd like to have a good night sleep I would recommend to look somewhere else; unfortunately this hasn't been built to be a hotel and one can hear every single movement of the other...

Nice hotel for staying overnight if you are on your way to the south of France or when you want to visit the castles in the area. Chambord is only 15 minutes away. The restaurant serve excellent fresh food en excellent wines from the region.

Its a very comfortable hotel in lovely grounds, close to the centre of Salbris but you are not disturbed by road noise. The rooms are spacious and have basic tea and coffee making facilities. However breakfast is quite basic considering the price (9.30 euros) and ambience. It is fine though! Also the reception is not always manned so you have...

We were staying elsewhere but ate here. And we ate very well. We were slightly worried when it took some time for our order to be taken (the restaurant was busy and we'd arrived at more or less the same time as a few other tables) , but once it had been our food arrived quickly. It's a big hotel,...

Very nice room with good bathroom with a very spacious modern shower. Tea/coffee making facility and a small jug of milk supplied when we asked for it. Good meal in the evening with the only negative being it was quite slow service (it was about an hour from when we sat down to when we got our starter), we had...
