We enjoyed our stay at Living Hotel - the room and pool were great, we loved the complimentary yoga class, it's a short walk from the beach and lots of good places to eat nearby. Only downside was the cafe was closed so there were limited options for breakfast (although the lady there made us some fantastic smoothie bowls from... More

I love this hotel. Nosara is a quiet town that we really enjoyed. This hotel has simply decorated rooms but the property itself is engulfed in green plants and a really nice pool. The staff was all very nice as well. The food at the hotel is incredible. My husband dreams about the Living Coffee they make as well. We... More

After having read some really positive reviews about this hotel on Trip Advisor and booking.com we went ahead and made out reservation. Firstly, positives: 1. The hotel grounds are serene - palm trees line a pretty swimming pool, and the accommodations have tables and sofas outside where guests can chill out. 2. The room was small, but well presented and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in June, and initially we were close to changing hotel as there was really loud building work next door that woke us up in the mornings, and also we came at a time when the cafe was closed - which was quite a disappointment. But by the end of our 5 nights there we had... More

I came to Nosara for some much needed R&R and spent a few nights at the Living Hotel. The hotel is tucked away on the edge of Guiones, making it feel like you are in the middle of the jungle, but as soon as you exit the driveway, everything is right there - grocery store, restaurants, surf shops etc. The... Selected this location because of its "green" positioning and proximity to the town and beach. Didn't want to be in e mix so this was the perfect balance. Really nice staff, location and food. There is a lot of pride here. They were extremely helpful with any and all needs.

Friendly security guard met me on arrival as I was arrived at 23h00. Nice clean room and hammock outside. Delicious healthy chocolate smoothie at the restaurant. I enjoyed the yoga class and using a bicycle to explore the town.

Found this hotel via trip advisor and were not dissapointed. Really friendly people and a nice chilled vibe. Room was enough for what we needed, comfy bed, decent shower, aircon and wifi. Salt water pool was a nice touch, great for dipping in when it gets a bit too hot in the midday sun. The living cafe is also very... More

Imagine a small, beautiful beach town surrounded by jungle, sea and wildlife, with a multicultural community and chilled surf vibe. I found Nosara to be a remote town with dusty roads leading down to the beach. You can pop into any independent cafe, grab a superfood smoothie or Costa coffee (the real Costa Rican kind), take a yoga session or... More

When considering a rating for a hotel or restaurant I always ask myself - compared to what? Compared to other establishments in that community or compared to the general universe of, say hotels, that I have stayed at? I never understand why reviewers so easily hand out "excellent" reviews as if everything was perfect and there was no room for... More
