Stayed here for two nights while visiting Santa Ana and the nearby tourist sites. There is a nice pool, a great restaurant and the entire hotel is themed on Italy but Salvadorian at the end of the day. Breakfast was great.

The staff were cordial at all times. Noise level is minimal when the music from the restaurant isn't playing - though even when it is, it's still pretty quiet.

The owner Rosy and her all family members are all find and helpful. Pick us up and send us to the bus station. Rosy's husband owns a restaurant at downtown and the food was so delicious. Rosy's son is a college student and showed us around and helped us to rent a car. It's not just a B&B and it's more like a friend's house and they treat you like their family members.

I want to start this review with saying that the owners of Villa Napoli are the most gracious, friendly people you will meet anywhere. They make the stay exceptional. The rooms are clean, the property is peaceful, the grounds are well kept and very green. The pool area is very nice for relaxing. There is a washing machine available for washing clothes off of the kitchen. Nice patio with two sets of tables for outdoor dining or just drinking. We loved our stay here. Breakfast is wonderful. The husband is a chef. Be glad the morning he makes breakfast, we were. All around great experience. Would go back in a minute!

We scheduled our trip in June and negotiated a price that we all agreed upon. When we arrived everything was fine, but when they realized we were from the U.S. the price jumped by 60% and we were not allowed to stay unless we paid. Avoid this place at all cost. They are dishonest and will try and take advantage of you.

What can we say- we arrived the day before New Years and were immediately invited to join the family and friends for the New Year celebrations! And it got even better from there- Rosie, the owner's, son played tour guide for us taking us to local sights and even climbing Santa Ana volcano with us. We really felt like family. Our room was amazing, clean, comfortable and huge. The rooms share a common living and kitchen area which was tastefully decorated and a great place to relax. As was the garden and swimming pool and lastly the breakfast was delicious. It is worth a trip to Santa Ana just to stay at Villa Napoli!

Once in a while when travelling you discover something extraordinary. This time I did in Santa Ana. Villa Napoli is an exquisite hostel in 5he outskirts of the town. The rooms are large and well furnished and beautifully decorated by the (shy) artist owner. Very clean good facilities. But the greatest assets are the owners Rosita and Franklin who are simply the most genuinely hospitable people I ever met in the hospitality industry. Wam friendly and caring. Makes it worth to visit Santa Ana just to stay there. And by the way no visit to Santa Ana is comlete without an evening in Franklin's cafe cultural Expresion. Great food and atmosphere. WELL DONE

This is a beautuful house. Amenities are very comfortable. Rosi, Guillermo, and Franklyn were very helpful. They truly made us feel as if we were home.
The moment we arrived to the city, I called Rosi and she asked her husband to meet us so we would not get lost. He took us to his restaurant (Expresion Cultural). We had a nice dinner. Relaxing environment after a long day of visiting Mayan ruins. After this he guided us to the house. It was fully equipped with towels, soaps, etc. We have been traveling for days and staying at average hotels that do not provide any of these amenities. This was truly a joy. The place also has a cozy living room and a small kitchen. I walked around the garden. She has all types of trees and all well kept. I only wished that I would have had more time to stay in this house longer. The weather was great! You don't need a/c, even though one room has one unit. We decided to have breakfast in the house the following morning. I asked her to have it ready for us at 730 and it was. It was delicious.
To finalize this portion of the trip, she guided us to the oldest church in the country and even waited for us to make sure we were ok. What an amazing lady. This is what I called true salvadorian hospitality!

I might be a bit biased since my family had run of the place with no other visitors to share with. We literally had all of Villa Napoli to ourselves. Our beds were very comfortable. The bedrooms and living room, dining room were spacious. The kitchen has a good gas stove and appropriately sized refrigerator. There was ample hot water for warm showers. Of the three hotels we stayed in while visiting El Salvador, Villa Napoli had the most consistent and reasonably fast wireless internet. Rosy is a wonderful, amazingly talented and very friendly host. She's adorned the place with her beautiful art and decorated the place nicely. We felt at home after a long day out sightseeing and visiting around Santa Ana. It was a treat to stay here and the price, it's an absolute bargain!

We were served delicious breakfast with different menus every day. Since we were in El Salvador, we requested comidas tipicas, or typical Salvadorean fare. The way we saw it, you can get a continental breakfast at pretty much any hotel you stay at, so we dispensed with that and opted for the food unique to El Salvador. Rosy did not disappoint. My favorite was the Salvadorean tamale and the fried plantains.

Santa Ana is a small city. It's very logically laid out and easy to navigate by car. Since there were five of us, the car rental option seemed the most convenient way to get around. The only caveat is that roads tend to be narrow and Google Maps isn't always accurate about the direction of one way streets. Altogether, Santa Ana is much easier to navigate than my city, San Francisco, California. Villa Napoli's locations, while on the outskirts, is still within 10 minutes drive of anywhere in Santa Ana. With the Carretera Antigua a San Salvador (Rt 9) right outside the grounds, you will be on a road that easily gets you into town.

The gardens on the grounds was to our eyes, exotically and beautifully tropical. If you've perused the pictures posted by other guests on this site, you'll have noticed the pool and the hammocks. I gather from the pictures, that previous guests have found the hammocks restful and relaxing. Sadly, we kept a pretty busy agenda and only managed to try the pool. Being from cooler climes, the pool was relieving given that I had not yet acclimated to the local humidity.

Price wise, the place cost us on average $56 a day. It was a bargain for my family. I made reservations by calling the numbers posted in Trip Advisor. Rosy is very easy to reach by phone and by email. She has excellent command of English, even though she claims not to, she replies promptly by email and keeps you well informed. She's genuinely dedicated to ensuring that here guests are comfortable. I can't compare it with anything else in Santa Ana, since it was our first visit to El Salvador and the only place we've stayed in in Santa Ana, but truth be known, this place is so nice, we've decided we'll stay at Villa Napoli every time.

Myself and my girlfirend had been traveling around Central America for 6 weeks and this Bed and breakfast stood out for us as one of the nicest that we stayed in. Rosi went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The rooms themselves are private, spotlessly clean and very relaxing. There is an outdoor seating area and a lovely garden with hammocks to relax in. Rosi took so much time to take care of us. The breakfast was great, with the best coffee you'll get in El Salvador. The location of the B&B is a little outside of the town centre, but its worth it for the fantastic welcome and stay Rosi and her family will give you. We ended up going back for another night in Villa Napoli after 2 nights in another town, because we liked it so much!! Spending time with Rosi and her wonderful family made El Salvador a real highlight of our trip.

We had found this aparthotel from Tripadvisor and the review was good, so we decided to go there. A few days before our arrival, in a welcoming email, owner asked us about the time of arrival and if we need any help for direction and in a series of email mailed us a marked map that helped us via inputting in GPS.

When we reached to our room, nobody else was in there, so we had the whole house for ourselves. It has kitchen, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, balcony, washer machine, free wifi, delicious breakfast, a nice green and fresh yard, 2 cable TVs, etc. The house is very nicely decorated and it has a good view to town.

When we reached there, our car tire from the day before had been flat, so in the morning, we were looking for a mechanic to fix the tire. With almost no Spanish, owner came with my car and brought me to two mechanics and we got the price and fixed the car. It would be very hard for me to do so if she had not helped me.

The owner also introduced the attractions around town and accepted to come with us and show them around in downtown. Like a tour guide we used her help and we visited attractions in downtown including the theater, city hall, cathedral, and also further away for lunch to beautiful Lake Coatepeque. An experience that we never forget.

We had plan to stay only one night in their house and wanted to go back to San Salvador, but we changed our plan and decided to cancel our reservation in San Salvador and instead stay in Villa Napoli one more night. At night, we stayed in the backyard with owners and chatted in their beautiful hammock area. The morning next day we were planning to go to La Libertad beaches and when we asked owners, they also introduced a place there and accepted to come there and spend the lunch together there. They also offered a cell phone to us so we could be in contact while we are going there, which was very helpful.

Overall our stay in Villa Napoli was one the best experience of our trip to El Salvador and Honduras, an experience to remember!
