Campo Bello is a boutique hotel and coffee farm located on Cerro Verde, part of the national park Los Volcanes, a UNESCO biosphere reserve. Spectacular views on the property abound ranging from the iconic Izalco volcano to diverse flora and fauna including hummingbirds, toucans, and orchids. Walk through coffee groves, enjoy nature and the beautiful outdoors. Unique Igloos feature 2 simple rooms each, and a small living area. Hot showers. Small restaurant on the property. Tourism Police post at the entrance of the grounds, provides tours for visitors of the nearby volcanoes. Located at 1800 meters or about 6000 feet above sea level, the average temperature ranges between evening lows of 12 °C (54 °F) and noon highs of 19 °C (66 °F). For activities: Hike the Izalco and the Santa Ana volcanoes. The Izalco is young, perfectly conical and is said to have inspired the small volcano in Antoine de Saint-Exupery's book The Little Prince. The Santa Ana volcano being the tallest in El Salvador, boasts great views in all directions from the nearby Coatepeque lake all the way to the sea. Take a swim in volcanic crater lake Coatepeque, just a 30 min. drive.

It is a charming and unique place. the imposing and beautiful volcano of Izalco in front of your face. It is a beautiful experience!
super comfortable facilities. Access to the place is a little difficult in winter and there are stretches where the street is very narrow for two vehicles to meet. The staff is very attentive, friendly and collaborative. we are very grateful for this experience

Our room conditions were unacceptable, the beds didn’t even have all full proper bedding, the bathroom curtain was gross and the walls were dirty, they advise they didn’t have shampoo or soap ready in the rooms because they had ran out. The room supposedly had a living area with a tv, refrigerator and a cute dining table. Well we found a refrigerator on top of two stools, yes we had a tv, and instead of dining table we had 4 metallic chairs stacked up in the corner of the room (igloo deluxe 7- double rooms). Additionally the warm water took 30 mins to work, the housekeeping staff (3) came to help none really had an answer to fix the issue and it turned out that you have to open the water to the minimum in order to work which is frustrating if you already waited 30 mins for it to work! It’s was 3 of us, we stayed in the room a bit over an hour, we decided to checked out after 1 took a shower.

We didn’t ask for a REFUND, the manager on duty didn’t even have an apology when we check out and I explained that what we got was nothing of what he advertised! He was speechless, no words, unacceptable, even after we did a passive check out! You don’t want to leave your house to sleep under worse conditions or something different than advertised. I definitely let instagram be the reason to decide on this one, however most of their rooms are off dated and poor conditions. Seems from their catalog that they send on WhatsApp or their website that is only igloo 1, 2, 9 that are the new the rest are in poor conditions. I saw a few opened when I checked in they look as bad as ours! I would ask for live/current pictures before booking. The area is beautiful, very green and nice gardens and beautiful views, the sunset must be beautiful. They have a day pass probably better to take that option and see the sunset and tried their restaurant which I didn’t try.

Me and another 4 people stayed at this place after a day of hiking on Vulcan Santa Ana. The view was breath taking and the sunset was incredible. It's quiet, lots of greens and if you're lucky to get one of the igloos near the edge, you can sit outside and enjoy the view to Vulcan Izalco. On a clear day, you can see Guatemala and the ocean.
It's not fancy, but it has everything necessary: shower, toilet, bed. We were so exhausted and dirty, that we were content with what we had. We brought some drinks and food (this place does NOT have food to sell). There is also an outdoor BBQ grill available.
The price was affordable and the view was priceless. If this place was a bit fancier or got a bit of more attention, it could have been even higher!
Totally recommend it, but don't be picky - it's just like camping

My experience at Hotel Finca Campo Bello was one of the most beautiful two days I have ever had. Our igloo was spacious and clean, the entire staff was friendly and went above and beyond to help us, and the views were the most beautiful I have ever seen. We enjoyed relaxing on both viewing platforms, eating meals at the restaurant and with room service, and hiking on the trails around the hotel. This stay was worth it for the view alone, but the friendliness of staff and quality of stay made it even more worth it.

Unpretentious lodge with breathtaking views. Clean and cozy, with the most spectacular surroundings of nature. A place to wind down and enjoy pure mountain air. Going for long hikes in the forest is a must. On a clear day one can see the Pacific Ocean and even volcanoes of Guatemala. MUST!!!

The Health Minister of El Salvador should revoke the license of this facility. The structures (“IGLOOS”) trap constant humidity leaving a permanent musty odor that the management addresses this overwhelming odor by heavily perfuming the room. There is an issue with the septic tanks as there is persistent odor of urine in the bathroom. All fixtures are loose.

Finally, the “Ham and Cheese sandwich/fries”I had at the restaurant almost cost me my life with food poisoning.

Finally, the condition of the single unpaved roads to and from this facility made it very difficult to leave.

Only perk is I didn’t take home a bag full of cockroaches‼️

I really hate leaving poor reviews, but Hotel Finca Campo Bello left me no choice.

We arrived to the hotel a little after 10:30 PM. Upon entering into the room, in addition to the room being musty, and needing a bit of a cleaning, we were greeted by a cockroach crawling down the kitchen wall. Upon entering the bathroom, we witnessed two 3-inch cockroaches crawling out and back in a crack in the bathroom’s floor board and realize the igloo had an infestation. We immediately called the girl who checked us in and informed her that we would not be staying there due to the infestation. While waiting, I looked down and saw two baby roaches scurrying across the floor.

We advised her of all of the cockroaches, and she seem to be very confused about the roaches and “ No one has ever complained before” (now, I am seeing all of the reviews about the cockroaches on Google, I should’ve came here first, instead of looking at all of the lavish TikTok videos)

When we got back to the office, I asked the girl what we needed to do to get our money back seeing how we were in the igloo for a complete total of two minutes. She informed us to email who we made the reservation through, as there was nothing she could do.

Frustrated because we had already had a long day, we drove two hours back to the hotel. We stayed our first night in San Salvador. I have been emailing and texting back-and-forth. Emails have been ignored- still, I sent the first over 2 weeks ago. Text messages are very vague and eventually she told us there’s no refunds, although that is not what we were told when we were leaving. In addition to that, the lack of detail for this company allowed her to get me mixed up with the completely different customer, whose review I do actually seen on Google.

I had such high hopes for this hotel, only to be disappointed by the lack of professionalism, the infestation and the lack of accountability in handling this manner.

Be warned before staying here!!

The view of the Izalco volcano is breathtaking! The clouds move quickly allowing you to see it for sure.
Everything else is disappointing. Our home smelled of moisture all the time. The property room and some other walls show signs of mushrooms.
The bed is actually 2 single beds. My pillow is 3 cm thick, imagine once my head is on it.
The restaurant has only a few dishes on the menu. My first and only supper was a panini with a single slice of ham and a slice of Kraft cheese. The fries were barely cooked. They explained that he had lost a lot of food in the weeks before we arrived because of the rain and they did not want to lose any more. Well, they lost four customers. We preferred by far Casa 1800 4 km where we had dinner twice. There is nothing in between.
It must be said that the staff is very friendly. We ziplined and climbed Santa Ana volcano with a private guide.

Spectacular concept! We went with high expectations and were very satisfied. The rate is worth it, as Plus includes breakfast. The weather is nice. The service staff is very attentive and ready to resolve any guest need. They have very good coffee on site and you can buy beans or ground to take away.
