I was hesitant because of the range of reviews, but I thought since it’s only 2 nights before we leave Europe, close to airport...let’s try it. Honestly we had very low expectations, but it ended up being really great. The grounds are beautiful and you need to go through the spa to the many gardens and pathways, pools, saunas, hot tubs etc in the back. Such a surprise! Spend the time/money to do this. It is VERY European. My husband did not have a Speedo so we were kinda obviously not from the area...this is a VERY popular place for the locals on the weekends. Some smokers, but not bad. Big place so no biggy. Many acres of space. Make a dinner reservation! The staff on the facility was efficient, food was good, room very nice...just don’t expect everyone to be super friendly...which was fine with us. No one was rude. We consider this place a little more upscale. We easily got a cab to airport to go into Rome via public transportation one day and then we got the same cab to take us to airport next morning for our flight. We are really glad we stayed there and certainly will again some day. A nice way to end the long cruise vaca before heading home. A surprisingly lovely place so very very near the airport!

We booked this hotel as a finale to a great trip to relax, enjoy the spa and amenities and none of that happened. We unexpectedly arrived late due to a delayed flight and the spa was closed 30 minutes earlier than what was advertised and the front desk happily refused to credit us for the spa package we bought. When we got our room the heat was blasting on high to the point we had to open the balcony and call the front desk for maintenance. After an hour they thought they fixed it but then the A/C kept shutting off automatically every 10 minutes. We ended up having to leave the balcony open which led to mosquitoes coming in the room. The bed was hard an inexcusably uncomfortable for a hotel at this price point. The bathroom was decent but the tub setup was strange and due to the lack of length in the shower head it was nearly impossible for someone to use who wasn't looking to take a bath. All in all it was a lot of money with no value and terrible service. The hotel looked the part from the start but as it ended up the the only bright spot for us was how convenient the location was to the airport and the fact the taxi was on time to take us away.

We needed a hotel room near the airport for an early morning flight, after spending a perfect week in Tuscany. We took a long time to decide between The Hilton Garden, which is what we know, this hotel. We made a mistake. We showed up without a reservation, and the guy at the desk told us they were sold out. We were disappointed, but ready to simply move on to the Hilton. Then another guy showed up at the desk and my husband asked if there was a room. Of course, sir. We had a choice between 3 types of rooms. Okay, how is it that Guy #1 said they were sold out, and Guy #2 said we could choose from a variety of rooms? So that's the first bad thing. We sprung for the “romantic” 2-story room. It stunk of cheap, gross cleaning fluid, and there were no screens on the windows -- which we needed to open to get out the stench. So, the second thing is that it is incredibly over-priced. $300 for a bare, stinky room. Then my husband went to the free happy hour, while I unpacked. He came back within 5 minutes because to get into the free happy hour you have to wear only your hotel robe. Which explained why everyone, weirdly, walks around this place in their robes, looking like inmates in an institution. The next morning while we were checking out we asked the manager if the hotel had been sold out the night before. She said, “no, not at all, there were plenty of rooms.” Bottom line: This is a weird place.Go to the Hilton. Boring can be good.

This hotel is located roughly 10 minutes from the airport so it was a wonderful option if you want to stay near Rome but not in Rome. It is about a 35 minute drive to Rome so if you’re looking to be in the center of the city this is not the place to stay, however if you want to get away for the evening or a couple of days you’ve come to the right place - the hotel is elegant and classy. The rooms are updated and spacious by European standards. It is best to take the option that includes the spa as you get full use of the spa facilities as well as the appertivo which is included. Having been to other QC properties this spa is not as grandiose however it is well appointed. Due to its proximity to Rome we were there on a weekend and it was very crowded. Breakfast was included in our package and was very grand. Fantastic option close to the airport!

After the usual bumps of an international trip, stepping out of traffic onto the grounds of QC Termeroma felt like entering an oasis. It was green. It was restful. The food was good. They also provided the little things that make the difference between a good experience and a truly special one. I'm now plotting how to route all my future Italy trips through Rome so we can stay there again.
