The Aurora occupies an enviable position in the center of Sperlonga, right on the beach, with private garden and parking. It’s far less than two hours from Rome or Naples. In a cosmopolitan atmosphere, you can taste a rich breakfast in front of the crystal sea. Aurora has created many areas in a natural environment where they can find or lost themselves. Watch the sunset from the terrace of the Nautilus Bar tasting an aperitif. Relax, reading a book in the lush garden or keep fit in the fitness center. The Junior Suite From the terraces of the 2 jr suites you can enjoy a wonderful panorama that sweeps from the sea to Truglia Tower and the picturesque village. The Argonauta suite is in the new part of the Hotel Aurora and ha its own entrance on the beach. It has its own entrance and access direct on to the beach in an isolated position but at the same time close to all the amenities. It is on 3 floors with a magnificient large window facing the sea. A gracious half moon shaped staircase leads you to the top floor double bedroom. From the bed to waking up, you can lose yourself in the darkness of the sea.On the beach level, two double bedrooms, each ensuite bathrooms complete the suite. Both rooms have access to the spectacular veranda that leads you directly on to the beach. It is absolutely lovely!

Detailed Reviews
This hotel is as consistently wonderful as ever.
Despite having reservations about travelling during this current pandemic, I felt safer here than at home in Northern Ireland. Unsurprisingly, a hotel with such normal high standards of cleanliness has gone to great lengths to protect its guests from the risks of Covid.
The professionalism of all the staff and the unobtrusive way in which they service their guests, along with the stunning location results in a wonderfully relaxing few days away. We can’t wait for our next visit!
Thank you to all the staff at the Aurora Hotel!

We decided on a holiday in Sperlonga after our original holiday was cancelled due to Covid. Wow, we made the right choice! This hotel is just perfect, they have thought of everything. We had a sea view (Marine) room and it was wonderful to go to sleep listening to the sound of the sea. Everything was spotlessly clean and lots of storage space - even in the bathroom. The beach area was great and you get the same sun beds for the whole of your stay. We were extremely lazy and ate lunch at the hotel everyday as it was superb. In the morning when you go to breakfast, you can look at the lunch menu and book your table, either in the beautiful garden on on the sea view terrace (we tried both). The food at breakfast and lunch is really good, with lots of choice but what really makes this hotel special is the staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful but I must single out the lady behind the bar (I think her name is Vera) as she is wonderful and such a credit to the hotel. This certainly won't be our last visit to this lovely hotel. Thank you Aurora team.

We booked just 2 days in a Junior Suite as part of a 5 week European trip. It was in the the right place and we were taken with the reports that that it was undiscovered jewel on the Mediterranean coast. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. The suite was great and when we heard that there was an allocated parking spot just feet away from the front door our hearts lifted. The attention to detail was second to none from the carefully coordinated colours and the wonderful balcony with sun beds. A beautiful fresh fruit basket to greet us. The beach was great with Suite occupiers getting beds and towels at no extra cost. The breakfast was typical continental fare, but over-looking the fabulous beach.
The town was a true delight and the hike up the alleyways was very worthwhile. There is fabulous mix of pizzerias and fine fish restaurants in the town, but can recommend Il Porticciolo by the harbour - perhaps un-prepossessing but serving excellent VERY fresh fresh fish

What a wonderful hotel for a nice relaxing holiday. The hotel was excellent in so many ways and the staff could not have been nicer. We had a balcony room with lots of space and a great view.
The room rate included breakfast which was served from a room overlooking the sea, which was a great way to start each day. Breakfast included a great selection of breads, fruits, cheese, meat, etc.
The hotel serves beautiful food during the day but is also well situated close to lots of cafes and restaurants. It is only a short distance (with a good climb) to the piazza in the old town which is well worth a visit.
A great well-cared-for hotel that is definitely on our list for a nice relaxing holiday when needed in the future.

Beautiful experience in the Aurora hotel.
Excellent location, directly on Sperlonga beach, from which you can admire enchanting sunsets, and directly in the historic center area.
The sea view room is particularly worth it, you really have the feeling of being on board a ship.
Always precise and excellent cleaning.
Abundant breakfast with fresh cakes/croissants, fresh fruit, savory foods and products for celiacs and those intolerant to lactose.
The outdoor garden is also beautiful, with many varieties of plants, in which you can have lunch or relax.
Beach and parking included perfectly complete the package of services.
I would like to compliment the dining room staff, they are really super thoughtful and kind, they make you feel at home, and you can also perceive perfect harmony and collaboration between them.
It's a shame not to have half board, we certainly would have taken advantage of it.
Highly recommended.

The very best location with a shallow sandy beach in front, especially good for children. Even in the middle of May the water was really warm! Big and safe parking area at no cost. A short (but steep) and beautiful walk up to the old town. At the entrance there is a small, beautiful garden with tables where they serve drinks and lunch. Breakfast is a big and good buffet served inside with beautiful sea view, and with some tables outside on the small balcony. Staff in restaurant and reception very nice and helpful. We had room 216 style "Rose di Mare" with a big private terrace and great view mainly to the old town and partly to the sea. There are 4 such rooms, the neighbour room (217?) is probably the very best, with more sea view. Comfortable room with an extra bed which sadly could not be used as a sofa, too "deep". The only bad thing in the room was the bed, the mattress was much too hard - as it is at most hotels in Italy. But we had a great stay and recommend this hotel to anybody :-) Several restaurants close to the hotel, the best was Pizzeria Mari! It looks so simple, but food (pizza, lasagna, fish) and staff are great! Bad restaurants: Neighbour Tropical (bad pizza with too much cheese, and prices higher on the bill than on the menu) and Donna Assunta at the Piazza della Liberta in the old town (very bad cold lasagna).

This lovely, romantic, small hotel has many pluses: spectacular setting on the beach; beautiful garden; comfortable well maintained modern rooms; easy parking included; lots of hot water and good showers; comfortable beds and nice linens; good reading lamps by the beds; lovely patios; great breakfasts; lovely bar and terrace; 5 star staff members who are friendly and helpful; clean beach with umbrellas and loungers. Beach slopes gently in the sea so it is great for swimming. Long beach good for walkers. This hotel is incredible value for money.

We recently thoroughly enjoyed another relaxing stay at the delightful Hotel Aurora. This beautiful hotel is maintained to the highest standard with friendly staff always on hand to help. Breakfast can be taken in the impressive Marina Room or on the terrace overlooking the sea, and we really enjoyed the fine buffet selection on offer. The hotel has its own private sandy beach with fine views up to the old town. Guests are allocated their own umbrella and sunbeds for the duration of their stay. In addition to relaxing on the beach and in the sea, we also loved strolling along the beach which seemed to extend for miles. A delicious lunch can be enjoyed relaxing on the terrace or in the pretty garden or bar area. In the evening, there are plenty of restaurants to explore in the market square and surrounding area as well as up in the amazing old town. There is no better place to drift off to sleep than a Marine Room after a relaxing drink in the bar. When we want a beach holiday, we choose the Hotel Aurora every time.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely, family run, beachfront hotel. The views from our suite of the sea were amazing and enjoyed from our terrace. The suite was large with an extra seating area. Breakfast was served with tables overlooking the beach as well. It was a great sandy beach with chairs and an umbrella reserved for each room and served by a lifeguard. It was great to wander down to the beach and have our space all set up and ready to go! Great location right in the center of the lower part of town. Parking was reserved and included and there were lots of great restaurants nearby. The hotel staff even helped us arrange a rapid COVID test performed at the hotel!

I left my heart there.. wonderful hotel, directly on the beach. There isn't enough space to describe how good you feel in this place, all the staff are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are large and bright, above all very clean, always scented with daily towel changes and a very comfortable bed with pillows of different heights to choose from. Mr. Massimo is the "welcome" personified, kind and helpful who involves you in his stories of the Sperlonga of the past between pirates and secret routes. Every little detail is taken care of and makes you feel immersed in a dream. The breakfast is excellent, always fresh and always well stocked until the last second (and it is until 10.30, an excellent time for those who want to rest). I add direct access to the beach with sunbed and umbrella included and to the central square and free parking inside the courtyard. I really would never go back home but I will definitely be back.. hopefully soon too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
