The best thing about the hotel is the cleaning, which is carried out daily by super scrupulous and attentive staff.
Too bad about the breakfast, which in my opinion is really disappointing. It's the first time I've found myself having to choose on the paper with checkmarks what I'll have to eat. Whatever the reason for which this method is used, it is not acceptable not to be able to choose what to eat at the buffet and on a daily basis.
Another point against it is the excessive rigidity with which the customer is treated. A good morning with a smile is always welcome.
The rooms are practically on the beach, a beautiful beach with a view of the town (a living nativity scene) and the historic Truglia Tower.
Mrs. RAFFAELLA is an example of rare professionalism, assisted by up-to-date staff and by two lifeguards Antonio and Luca who are always super attentive, kind and helpful. Observe the detail, the constant cleanliness of the bathroom located on the beach and you will understand everything about this place and how it is managed.
A stone's throw from the center and the port, you can also forget your car in the hotel garage.
In the evening you can face the breathtaking sunset rested like the steps that go up to the town center (it's worth it) or to the Truglia tower, or the walk between the stalls towards the port and the source.
All this just 2 hours drive from Rome!
The furnishings of the room I stayed in were traditional, while that of the dining room was simple and essential. Every room was impeccably clean and tidy. The waiters, in particular Laura and Andrea, who served me the most, were always welcoming, punctual and precise.
The menu was good but there are some observations, deriving from my personal taste and experience, which I intend to make explicit. In particular, I found the absence of a breakfast buffet limiting and that only one menu had to be filled out for the entire stay, unless requested to modify it, a request that I did not always feel welcomed with availability. I understand that it is a choice against waste, but personally I think that it is preferable to have two slices of cake left over to use again the next day, rather than wasting more than a hundred sheets of paper to choose for breakfast. Despite this criticality, the "menu" was interesting, in particular the cakes, tasty and homemade. As regards lunch and dinner, I must highlight that on some days there was no choice of side dish, very little dessert was offered (1 time for dinner, 1 lunch, out of 10 meals) and that the bacon put in some pasta dishes it was very toasted, almost burnt. I really appreciated the proposal of the typical Roman pastas, which I found delicious, despite the problem of the bacon.
In conclusion, a good stay, albeit with some critical issues. Great dining and housekeeping staff, lovely location and town!
How can you improve on perfection . The location directly on the child friendly beach could not be improved. The operating theatre standards in cleanliness cannot be bettered . The new chef however has raised the standard of locally sourced traditional italian food The team of young friendly waiting staff could start a new Olympic sport for the speed they efficiently move around the tables, always with a smile. We worked out that it is now around 25 years we have been staying here and we often meet guests we have seen over the years and like us cannot think of a better hotel .Raffaella and her team deserve a medal for the quiet friendly efficient way they run La Siranella especially through these last couple of years .
Grazie
The staff is all very kind and attentive to customers, you feel really pampered
I have never been in such a clean structure, both the rooms and the common areas, including the beach. Absolutely Recommendation to families or couples who love tranquility while close to downtown. We'll be back!
every evening you can admire fantastic sunsets overlooking the sea. If you come by car you park it and forget about it for the entire stay.
Both lifeguards, two very good guys (Antonio and Luca) made us feel comfortable from day one. Mrs. Raffaela always available to our requests.
We will definitely return.
Highly recommended.
