Good hotel with really nice management and staff, very attentive, night porter very helpful. Rooms are a good size and well cleaned, breakfast was fresh and all you could eat , Location was excellent, Under Hundred Dive Centre just two minutes walk and town centre with all its amenities a five minute walk all in all to be recommended to visiting dive groups.
I have recently returned from a week long dive trip to San Vito lo Capo in Sicily. Our group of 14 divers from Ireland stayed at the Hotel Mediterraneo on via Faro, San Vito and we had a fabulous holiday. Giovanna and the staff at the hotel were most attentive to our every need. The preparation for our trip was made very easy with Giovanna's prompt email responses to all our queries. Some late additions to our group were accommodated with no fuss. The hotel was ideally situated. It was an hour from the airport in Palermo, across the road from the San Vito beach, a five minute walk from the Under Hundred dive centre and the town centre. The accommodation was bright, airy, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Arriving in from our early direct flight from Dublin we were greeted with a delicious lunch of a local pasta dish 'Spaghetti a la Trapanese'. I really enjoyed my stay, relaxing between dives on the balcony overlooking the beach or in the comfy armchairs in the foyer. Sincere thanks to Giovanna and the team at Hotel Mediterraneo. I look forward to returning. Frances Mc…
Good 3 star Hotel. Friendly staff, great location. Enjoyed my stay there on a week's diving trip. Good selection for breakfast each morning. Less than five minute walk to the main "strip". Even closer to the dive centre we were using.
This is lovely hotel, with a very good situation near beach, shops and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Rooms are big and clean. Parking place and balcony was big +. Many good restaurants in neighbour. This was good selection.
The most unpleasant lady with a terrible attitude just about "allowed" us to stay rather than welcomed us but didn't seem to care....We found our room clean and tidy and pleasant enough. Two primary reasons for choosing were wifi and air conditioning. On discovering no wifi we asked and were greeted with very brusque "The contract has run out. You can pay for it extra". I mentioned politely that the politely in the morning that I was unable to operate the air conditioning and was told very abbruply that is does work and was marched upstairs for a demonstration. I have never met someone so rude and unpleasant in all my travels. Have a pleasant trip and avoid Hotel Mediterraneo in San Vito Lo Capo.
