I was lucky enough to stay at the Bergperle and I cannot say enough about it! From it's cozy home feel to the beautiful view of the church, Bergperle has everything one might want! Nestled in between the mountains it is the perfect place to stay for any kind of outing and shows the best of Switzerland! Til and Doro...

We had a wonderful stay at Pension Bergperle. The B&B is as quaint as the town it is located in. Sent is a charming and central place to stay to explore the Lower Engadine. Local shops, pretty cobbled streets and traditional architecture are amongst it's delights. The beautiful church spire and bells hark of days gone by. For day trips...

We visited Sent in early December, when literally nothing is going on. It's a time between seasons, and the anticipation of winter is in the air. So it was quiet, and empty. But lovely and calm and relaxing, just as we that it would be. Die Bergperle is a lovely inn, in the center of a small ancient village on...

can only repeat the previous glowing comments. Doro and Til were so welcoming and friendly. they made us feel immediately at home. We had the two bedrooms on the top floor, which resulted in our having a completely self contained apartment, complete with kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the Wi-Fi connection was great. Doro and Til gave us excellent...

This lovely B&B is located in one of the most beautiful valleys of the Alps, in a small nice village- Sent. It is a great place for those who love winter sports, or for those who simply enjoy long walks and beautiful mountain landscapes. I spent here about two months and enjoyed every day and every moment. The hosts- Doro...

My husband and I stayed at the Bergperle during the Autumn and it was just perfect. Till & Doro were exceptional hosts who made us feel welcome & at home right away. I was a little bit worried as my German is very basic however their English was great so we were able to have many interesting conversations. Candle lit...

I stayed here over a year ago, after high season in early November. This place is the best. My stay was magnificent, and I would recommend it to anyone. Doro and Til were delightful, and very helpful in giving me the lay of the land. I spent my days hiking and my evenings talking to them. I slept like a...

After having spent one month at this lovely bed and breakfast in Sent, I can honestly say that I have never felt more at home during my many wanderings. Doro and Til are the perfect hosts, whose goal is always to provide outstanding service. We intended staying at Bergperle for 4 nights to do some walking and chill out but, having left my drivers licence in the photo copier at home in Australia (don't ask) we had to change our plans somewhat; like going everywhere in Switzerland by train or bus and finding a place to stay for an extra 4 nights. On all...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Bergperle (Mountain Pearl) is a laid-back and face-to-face B&B in a beautiful renovated original Engadin house. We the keepers - Doro and Til - worked decades in the tourism and hotel-industry and implemented in our house the atmosphere we missed in various hotels we lived in but avoid impersonal sterility ... so you can expect a very calm, cozy, friendly and well-groomed accommodation with the possibility for self-catering in one of our guest-kitchens. We guarantee a pleasant stay - as we had not a single guest in the time we are in our business who was unsatisfied - if you should regardless of that, impress us with a reasonable complain, we will definitively find a compensation which impresses you. The village Sent itself is worth a trip as it is very typical and still a insiders' tip in the Alps. ... more   less
