The Meridian Club is one of those very rare gems that sets standards that other holiday venues try to copy. Whilst many people site Parrot Cay as the ideal Turks and Caicos location, the mere fact that the Meridian Club keeps many celebrities, and the subsequent press and ‘fans’ away, makes it a far more attractive location. From the moment...

Thank you so much for your thoughtful and insightful review. You used any words we might offer, and have left us ... speechless! We look forward to hosting you again. You might need a respite, after you visit your 101st (or 102nd or 103rd) country.

The perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The setting was absolutely beautiful with each room looking onto the beach and with your own assigned tiki umbrella. We rarely saw other guests except at meals and were often on the beach alone. The best was going to the beach at night to see all the stars. Guests are able to take...

Here is a place where you pay for what you DON'T get, and I mean this as a great plus. No telephone in your room. No air conditioning in most rooms ( not necessary with the ceiling fans and the trade winds), but good wifi in all the rooms. Nowhere else to go for meals -- so no reservation anxiety...

We stayed at Pine Cay last week for 5 days. It is a uniquely isolated and wild island. We found it bug infested, overpriced and poorly maintained. The meals listed on their web site were not what was served. Buyer beware.

The Meridian Club defies categorization. As the sole resort on Pine Cay, it is a reflection and extension of the small group of homeowners that own and steward this very secluded and idyllic island. Is it a luxury hotel? With only 13 suites situated directly on the beach, a two-mile crescent of pristine white sand and turquoise water, it certainly...

Thank you Scott for taking the time to write a review. We know a review such as yours took time and thought and appreciate the candid feedback. It seems you really understand our value proposition and the nuance with luxury, food, hospitality, beach and rooms. As for the mosquitoes, we generally do not have an excessive problem (unless there is...

My girlfriend and I stayed 4 nights and 5 days. Everything is lovely-rooms (actually bedroom, bathroom, two sink areas, sitting area, screened in porch, additional outdoor shower), beach (amazing-check out the pictures in the website-then imagine better), service (everyone friendly and responsive), food (every meal a treat), snorkel trips (two of them were private as we were the only ones...

Recently got back from a 4-night stay on Pine Cay. Everything was amazing - the staff, food, beach, room - everything. Like others have said, it was a very relaxing stay. We did some exploring around the island but mostly sat on the gorgeous beach all day. Even though there were a few other couples and some homeowners on the...

Thank you for such a supportive review. We love that you were concerned about being "cut off" but were "thrilled" with the results. We strive for that feeling for each of our guests. The Meridian Club family looks forward to seeing you again.

This is the place to go to to get away from everything. No TV's, no radios, lots of books to read. Plenty of time to relax. Rooms were quite large with a separate living area and screened in patio. Tastefully decorated. Food was fantastic with a buffet lunch and gourmet dinner. Could walk right out from the patio to the...

We have been to the meridian club 3 times. Each time we loved it more than the last. The beach is spectacular, the quiet and solitiude amazing. We loved the snorkeling, and found the rooms to be romantic; right on the white sand beach!

Thank you "Paradise Found" for your kind words and loyal following. Indeed we do find that guests who stay longer are more likely to return, and guests that return are more likely to come more frequently. We think its because the more you truly disconnect, the more you value (and need) it. We look forward to hosting you again.

This place is gorgeous & so quiet! If you're looking for a lot of activities, clubs, etc. this is not for you. It is small and quaint with a beach all to yourself! Food is wonderful! Service & staff are also wonderful! Great place to relax and unwind. You can take golf carts around the island or bicycles. Great snorkeling...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Meridian Club is a private island hideaway resort in the Turks & Caicos islands of the Caribbean, with two miles of deserted, pristine white-sand beach (just 90 minutes by air from Miami). The property is environmentally sensitive and ideal for those seeking an unspoiled secluded retreat. Founded in 1973, the Meridian Club offers a Caribbean experience the way it was before the appearance of big hotels and condominiums, jet skis and beach umbrella communities. No crowds, no cars, no noise - a step back in time to a simpler, less hectic life. 12 beachfront/premium rooms and the Sand Dollar Cottage are set among sand dunes, sea oats and sea grapes, fronting on the beach. Some of the privately owned homes that share the island are also available for rent. Soothing trade winds ensure comfortable temperatures and low humidity year round while the surrounding waters (averaging a pleasant 75° - 80° Fahrenheit) teem with marine life. Underwater visibility often exceeds 100 feet and there are miles of coral gardens within a five minute boat ride. Ashore, Pine Cay remains a pristine natural haven, a private secluded island with vast open space and seven freshwater ponds, a perfect habitat for the abundant local fauna and flora. Winner of several awards from TripAdvisor, Andrew Harper, Caribbean Journal and Fodors honored. ... more   less
