We stayed at the chalets for 4 nights with 3 teenage kids and it was wonderful. Managers are very friendly and helpful, the beach is close by and the chalets are spacious and well equipped. Kids loved the loft. Great place to spend a few days!

We rented 4 chalets for our family reunion (of 5 families). The location and chalets were perfect. 2 families came from Australia so travelled from Auckland airport and 3 families from around North Island. The Chalets were great for all the families. The cousins enjoyed the loft sleeping arrangements which had flexibility for different aged cousins to sleep in different... More

We regularly come to Onemana for relaxation and a chance to recharge and the Chalets have everything we need. Christine the manager is wonderful and keeps the place running smoothly and looking great. The beach is quiet, soft beautiful sand and close to Whangamata for supplies and shopping.

My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed at the Onemana Chalets in January 2014 and we loved our visit. Christine was a great manager who accommodated us, assisted us with finding different restaurants, attractions in the area, and helped me a great deal when I was trying make my reservation. I was making the reservation via Skype... More

My family of four stayed at the Onemana Beach Chalets for three nights while visiting the Coromandel Peninsula (Onemana is a small and attractive beach settlement 10 minutes drive from Whangamata). The location is really quiet and the chalet we stayed in (Chalet 5) was spacious, clean and well-furnished. Our only gripe (and it's minor) was that the lock on... More

We stayed at the Onemana Beach Chalets over Christmas 2014 for 5 nights (incl Christmas Day). It was the perfect size for our family of 6 (2 adults & 4 kids). $240 a night for five of us. Lots of room, mezanine floor sleep fours plus two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Great view of other baches. Lovely gardens. Steep drive with hard to access carport, parked on street most of the time. $5 for family to use lovely clean pool and spa down the road. Make sure you book if... More

Our family of six stayed at the Onemana Beach Chalets for three nights. We actually had three couples in our party and so would have preferred three double or queen size beds instead of one queen size bed and four twins (plus two trundle beds) but the younger couples just pushed the twin beds together. The chalets are well equipped,... More

I called in (off the street, so to speak), recently, to ask about accommodation for some relatives visiting from Europe. Christing was outstandingly helpful, obliging and informative. The chalets and their surroundings were in pristine condition, I would not hesitate to recommend to Kiwis and overseas visitors. Some of the off-peak specials make Onemana Chalets even more enticing.

We stumbled upon this place on a day trip from Whangamata. Christine at reception is truly one of the most genuine, relaxed, and helpful people ever to sit at a front desk. The feel of the place is complete luxury and privacy combined. Absolute perfect getaway. And absolute beyond belief value for the $150 charge for the night. Divine beds,... More
