This must be the best B&B I have ever stayed in. So friendly and accommodating. The rooms and facilities were lovely. This is a must if staying over and want that more personal touch. The hosts were amazing.

On our arrival we received a warm welcome from Andy our host. He filled us in on all the local restaurants and activities. Our room was exceptional with lots of extra homey touches. We booked this B&B three hours before arriving in Whangamata and the owners welcomed us as we had booked in advance for months :-) Our room was nice and clean with a romantic style décor. Super couple and a lovely home from home. Felt very relaxed and welcome. Excellent breakfast and nice opportunity to meet some of the other guests around the breakfast table. We ended up at the door to Sandy Rose B&B last week and were instantly so glad we did! Sandie and Andy made us feel so comfortable and at home! Wonderful place to stay on Coromandel Peninsula and the perfect location to explore the surrounding area. The main street is within easy walking distance offering an array of cafes and resturants suited to all needs and budgets. Great couple...!!! Have been here for 4 days (day 3 as I write this). Location is good with the main street is within 5 mins walk. Beach and Marina are also within a short walk. Sandy and Murray were fantastic with there local information on walks etc. I rate it excellent because I could find nothing wrong during my stay... More

We cant praise this B&B highly enough, Sandy Rose B&B is in Whangamata on the Coromandel Peninsula, which is famous for its surfing bar and beautiful beaches. Sandy rose is only a couple of minutes walk from the beach, shops & cafes. Shirley & Murray the owners of the bed & breakfast couldnt be more helpful or welcoming. Their B&B... More
