A super location with far reaching views. A lovely room, very comfy bed, spacious en suite and fridge stocked with lovely goodies! We especially enjoyed the night time port! Our hosts made us feel very welcome and certainly set the standard for our month long trip. Definitely a home stay not just B&B. Thank you Kathryn and Peter.

We were given such a warm welcome when we arrived and were extremely well looked-after throughout our time at Pacific View. The breakfasts are brilliant, the room we had gave us amazing views, was light and airy and extremely comfortable. Kathryn and Peter are exceptional hosts and all their hard work shows. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Catherine and Peter were the perfect hosts - whether it was recommendations for dinner, places to visit, or routes to take. Our room was lovely with gorgeous views over Whangamata to the Pacific. The en suite was well appointed and everything was spotlessly clean. More still, a fridge with... More

We spent 2 nights here in February, the weather was beautiful and added to a great experience. Pacific View is aptly named as the view from the balconies is amazing, a clear view across Whangamata to the coast and onto the islands beyond. Facilities are very good, our upgraded room had a small fridge, king sized bed, free wifi and... More

Good location with great view over the town to the sea (although you will need car to get into town). Kathryn & Peter couldn't have been better hosts, from providing travel information upfront with special directions along a scenic route to brochures on local attractions and places to visit on our ongoing journey. They were charming and delightful. The room... More

We stayed here our first 3 nights in NZ. The bed was so comfy that I never experienced any jet lag! Amazing. The room was very cozy with complimentary Sherry, wine, chocolates.
