After having stayed with Neil and Raewyn back in December 2007, we went back in January and we again had a wonderful time at Omori Lake House. Neil and Raewyn are such natural hosts and again made us so welcome. Raewyn provided scrumptious breakfast and Neil worked the coffee machine expertly. The views across the lake from the house are...

We spent two nights here and were made to fell very welcome. Our room was very comfortable and the view across the lake is lovely. The hosts were very friendly, insisting that we had drinks with them both evenings, and gave us some good hints for things to do locally. The only negative comment is that on our first evening...

We stayed here in December 2012 for 1 night. The room was very comfortable and the view from it across the lovely garden to the Lake was special. Breakfast was more than adequate. This striking modern building was designed and built by the owners who seem to enjoy running it as a B & B, almost as a hobby rather...

It was absolutely fantastic. The house is really nice & the room we got was super comfortable and had fantastic views over Lake Taupo. But it's Raewyn & Neil that made the stay so memorable. we were friendly welcomed with a drink in the living room & neil directly organised the shuttle bus for the Crossing for the next day...

My wife and I travelled New Zealand for 4 weeks in Jan 2012 staying at about 15 different B&Bs in both North and South Island. We stayed at Omori Lake House with Neil and Raewyn for 3 nights and it was either the best we stayed in or the joint best. Upon arrival (we missed the entrance to the Lake...

We spent 3 nights at the Omori Lakehouse during our 2 week stay in New Zealand. It was the best accommodation we stayed at - not only for the spotless room with beautiful views over the lake but for the kind hospitality extended by Raewyn and Neil. The homecooked food was wonderful and Raewyn and Neil were so friendly and...

We stayed 2 nights with Raewyn and Neil in their beautiful home overlooking Lake Taupo. They were the perfect hosts and made us feel like family. On arrival we sat out on the terrace with glasses of wine taking in the panoramic views. We'd pre booked evening meal and were so glad we did as the food was excellent and...

We booked to stay one night with Raewyn and Neil Groombridge as we were travelling through their area to New Plymouth. After our one night stay, we wished we had allotted more time to visit their area and to enjoy their hospitality. Although we had not arranged ahead for dinner at the B&B, Raewyn offered on short notice to prepare...

Large, modern room. Good shower. Beautiful views. We stayed for 4 nights with Neil and Raywyn, hoping to do the Tongariro Crossing from this base. Neil produced a daily weather report and booked our transport to/from Tongariro national park. Raywyn cooked breakfast at 6am before we set off. They do this because they feel you need it for your trip....
