We had a wedding in nearby Gladstone , so we booked the two cottages and two ensuite bedrooms in the Lodge for our large family- our teenage children slept on the fold out couch - and Gran and granddad had the lodge rooms with ensuite . This worked really well as we all socialised in the Cottages together during the... More

We booked a B&B for 2 nights to go to the harvest festival. The room was great. The decor was old English and tastefully done and most important to us the bed was very comfortable. Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the stay so much that we have booked the cottages for next year.

Nice and relaxing. Our hosts Jim & Sylvia were very hospitable and nothing was to much trouble. We stayed in one of the cottages, spacious, modern furnishings, lovely bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. We are looking forward to our stay over Christmas this year. Thanks Jim & Sylvia. Jo.

When I booked I was told the cottage was not suitable for two single adults, as the fold out bed was 'only suitable for children'. So I agreed to rent a B&B room as well at significant extra cost. When we arrived no-one was at the property, and we quickly realised that the 3 seater fold out couch was perfectly... More

I was delighted with the view we got from the cottage, looking out on to a paddock & orchard. Only a couple minutes from Carterton town but made you feel like you were in the country. Room was modern & very clean. Hosts Jim & Sylvia were very friendly & helpful, nothing seemed to be a hassle for them. Felt... More

we spent 2 nights at Terracotta lodge and had a fantastic break from the madness of the world. So quiet and relaxing. The room was clean and the décor was modern and tasteful. The shower was huge and so clean. The owners live next door but they leave you in peace to enjoy the farmlike surrounds. Shrek and his woolly... More
