I was hesitant to stay here due to some of the reviews. We had no issues with the resort. Yes, it is a little dated, we were in the suite, and it wasn't bad at all. For the price, I will deal with dated furniture. Will go back again.

This past Christmas, we decided to spend a few days at the lake and enjoy the opportunity to do some crappie fishing at the lake. The lake was about as beautiful as you could imagine! The hard frost on the dock and the peninsula made it look like the entire resort was sprinkled in glitter! Even my boat sparkled! The...

I have frequented Silver Lake Resort for many years. I have stayed in most of the cabins and motel rooms. As other Tripadvisor reviews have pointed out the pluses and minuses of each, I would agree on just about all of these points they make. I, however, would like to point out the larger picture of this resort. Since I...

I love the silver lake resort. I stayed in the motel right on the water. One can fish right off their balcony and really catch some good fish. A great view of Mt St. Helens and the whole lake. This is a great peaceful place. Enjoy the dock below for fishing or watching the wildlife. A special place. Beware some...

We enjoy coming out to Silver lake annually as it is a great place to enjoy some time on the lake, fresh mountain air, local trails in the Mt. Saint Helens visitor center and time together. The Rooms have kitchenettes so we can make so can stay in a cook. The WIFI doesn't work very well at all every time...

This is a sweet, old timey resort with many types of water craft for rent to use on beautiful Silver lake, in the shadow of Mt. St Helens. Kids fishing off the dock, mist on the lake, what a nice way to spend a weekend, 75 minutes from Portland, 2 hrs from Seattle.

sorry folks but people who go here must not get out much! I have been to many, many mom and pop motels across this country and this does not rate anything near a '4'. Location OK, employees- managers very OK front desk folks great. Now for the rest. I stayed a couple of nights in a cabin and then in...

The best place ever for fishing! will go back every year.. great customer service and friendly people. Great place to camp for kids and dogs. Clean and quiet, huge firepit and tiki torches, non stop catching fish off the dock from moving until late at night !!

As a fairly regular visitor to the Silver Lake Resort, I can say that I have stayed in the motel multiple times, I have stayed in all but one of the cabins, and we usually camp in our tent in the RV sites, although we have camped in the tent sites before as well. Having said that, l'll just say...

Camping. Was put in site E5 - wedged up next to a dumpster-type metal storage unit. So close to neighbor that their cigarette smoke came into our camper all night. Toilet paper near back fence of this crowded little site. Lake setting is nice, but over-all crowded feel. Lots of rules and fees. Will not go back.
