This is our 3rd visit to Barnsdale. The first time we stayed in a lodge, the following year we stayed in a superior room and this year we stayed in a lodge again which was big enough for us to have the whole family.

On a sticky, uncomfortably hot .Sunday it was sheer joy to be in their lovely, air conditioned dining room. The staff were welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to serve us, bringing us copious bottles of water without being asked or reminded throughout the meal.
We stayed for a couple of nights in the Barnsdale as part of a wedding party, and in that respect i have reviewed the whole event.
