We spent a few wonderful days with Susi and Franz with 7 moped colleagues. It was a great stay. We were given a very warm welcome. We had booked half board and were surprised with 4 courses. Great food. We had trouble getting everything done. And delicious. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was no less delicious. We spent 3 nights at this family run hotel. The owner was very helpful with maps and hiking suggestions. Ok room, albeit very Bavarian:), but the prices were considerably higher than stated in Lonely Planet. The girls working in the hotel gave us wrong information, which meant quite a bit of hassle with public transportation. Small pool in basement. Bit of fitness equipment in basement, which unfortunately isn't avalilabe early in the morning (6.30-7.00). Fine 3 course meal for extra Euro 10. Good base for hiking in the Bavarian forest.

We were delighted from arrival to departure. The room, service, staff, breakfast and pool were all just thumbs up. There was also a bowl of fruit, which my grandson was particularly looking forward to. We will definitely come back here on our next visit to Grafenau.

The friendly welcome, the bright, quiet rooms, the good breakfast with bread from the local bakery, the sun terrace and the small wellness area, everything made for a relaxing, lovely holiday. Everything was perfect! All my questions were answered before booking. The boss was there at breakfast. The breakfast was above average. We arrived very late, contactless check-in worked great. Unfortunately we couldn't use the sauna etc. due to lack of time. But it looks very new and well maintained.

We have already stayed at the Hotel das Reiners three times. My brother-in-law also stayed at the Hotel das Reiners on my recommendation. Always relaxing days and it just works. Quiet hotel, attentive hosts. The terrace is beautiful and is a lovely spot.
