I first came across this hotel a number of years ago when I stopped there for lunch while skiing with my son and thought it looked like it would be nice to stay. Five years later my wife and I came with another couple for a quick 4 night ski break. Christophe the owner was very helpful and organised our...

My family has been coming to the Milkhotel in Les Carroz for a number of years now. We first stayed before it rebranded to the Milkhotel at which point the rooms were massively improved, the breakfast room and restaurant likewise. The rooms are all clean and comfortable with wet room shower area. We normally have one of the mezzanine rooms...

Milk hotel is situated on the slopes. Very convenient. Breakfast is good and dinner even better. Great wines, friendly staff. The wines are a bit expensive and so is the cappucino. But service and cosyness has its price.

We travelled as separate 2 families of Dad's with grown up son's. Location for skiing was spot on as you were on piste so could ski down at the end of the day and then,in the morning, jump back on your skis to take a green run to the main telecabin. There was a drag lift which took you about...

I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Milk Hotel and would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff there that made it such a wonderful holiday and could not have done any more to help us. I visited with my husband and two children (age 5 and 8) and we stayed in a...

Great menu, cool decor, attentive staff and delicious food. It's at the bottom of Timolei and you can sit outside and watch the skiers come down the red piste or inside and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Thoroughly recommended!

We stayed at the Milk Hotel for 4 days at the end of Jan 2017 and I have to say we were extremely impressed overall. Firstly the hotel is literally ski in / ski out, which is so good - it's located right on the Piste on the final red run (Soleil) into Les Carroz just above the main lift...

Had a week hear with a couple of friends. Good snow and lovely sunny weather. The ski in, ski out can't be beaten! Good to see Christophe and the team again. Must be 15 years or so since we first came here. It has gone 'upmarket' and probably needed to. All done sympathetically by Christophe and the team. Very popular...

Stopped here on a busy Sunday lunch time for a drink and a quick bite to eat as it looked fantastic and have heard great things about it. Sadly it didn't live up to the hype. We weren't greeted for 10 minutes when we arrived, and the experience just got worse from then on. My friend ordered a portion of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to the Milkhotel, a hotel and restaurant at the foot of the slopes of Les Carroz. The idea of creating something different, less hectic and more responsible, and the quest for quality, simplicity and the satisfaction of your expectations and those of your children has today given birth to the MILKHOTEL. The new, resolutely contemporary setting has still kept the atmosphere and warmth of a mountain chalet. And it's just like being in a true chalet: on the slopes, at the foot of the slopes, skis on the feet, ski in ski out... all that you could possibly want from a ski resort. In the heart of an extraordinary ski area, you and your children are just a hop and a skip away from the world of mountains and skiing. ... more   less
