Don't be put off - the outside of the building right in the centre of the village looks pretty ordinary but it's a wee gem. Stayed just the one night and took 4 rooms. We'd happily go back to, and recommend, this friendly hotel that offers good value and is kept to a high standard. Everyone remarked how clean and...

Aberlour is a charming village in the Speyside area. The Aberlour Hotel sits right on the high street in the center of town quite literally next door to most things. Not super expensive, but not a bargain, either. Celebrations: the room we stayed in was on the top floor. A double en suite. Clean, updated bathroom. Bed comfy. Breakfast service...

It looks better from the inside than from the outside. Don't get fold by the outside or the public rooms of this hotel. The rooms are very good. Clean and everything you need. The only thing I can say about the room is, that it was little bit to small. But good enough to stay for one night.

The 4 of us did not made any reservation for dinner. After checking the web for restaurants suggestions, we went to the Mash Tun, but it was fully booked. They recommended us to try the restaurant at the Aberlour Hotel. So off we went. When we arrived at the hotel restaurant, it was literally empty, we were a little hesitant...

Saved the day at short notice when we prolonged our stay in Speyside by one night. Lovely bedroom with comfortable bed and modern en suite bathroom. Lounge bar space limited but good range of whiskies. Full Scottish breakfast was excellent but service a little slow.

Stopped here while on holiday. Friendly welcome from staff who quickly found us a table and provided superb customer service thoughout the evening. Menu provided a wide choice of options and good value for money. Food was excellent and very delicious too! All in all a great dining experience and wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Lunch here after visiting the Glenfarclas Distillery was spontaneous and unplanned, but really glad we chose it. Friendly, efficient staff, nice surroundings and braw food. If we're in the area again we will definitely return

Unpretentious but clean hotel with welcoming and friendly staff. Food pretty good for its type: breakfast hearty and excellent: bed and bed linen were so comfortable they are worthy of note. It's not the Ritz but it's not trying to be: for the money we paid for B and B. pretty good value. The hotel is smack in the centre...

From the high street, the hotel does not really stand out and I had few real expectations from it when we decided to stop for an early evening meal. we sat in the front bar seating area as the public bar at the rear sounded a bit rowdy. The area was clean and modern if a little lacking in character....

Why cannot menus be more exciting. The same old burgers, steak pie etc etc. Dinner ,food overall average. Staff ,young and willing but not skilled. It is what it is a cheap and cheerful place with no pretensions of excellence,a shame. Bar very quiet, not really a drinking place unless you use the public bar at the back,(not recommended).
