I had booked a table of 12 for my sisters 50th birthday celebrations. We have had previous family celebration lunches here and the food and service is always great. There is a wait but the food is freshly prepared using local ingredients and you are told to expect this. Staff are so friendly and helpful and we were even given...

We stayed for one night at the Mash Tun and had a great experience. We were there celebrating my father's 80th and my 40th birthday. The people were so friendly, and they even were able to get us a dinner reservation at their delicious restaurant on very short notice. They even surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco for our...

In June, 2015, a friend was able to eat very well at The Mash Tun but was not able to stay there. We booked in advance for only one night but enjoyed a warm welcome and a very nice evening meal and breakfast the next morning. Evening meals are offered with a whisky recommendation for each course. As others have...

Stayed at the Mash Tun for 3 nights for my husbands birthday and loved it! The Mash Tun is situated just off the main road through Aberlour by the River Spey. It has a small car park or street parking close by. The rooms are on the first and second floors above the restaurant/bar. We stayed in the Aberlour suite...

Excellent little pub nestled in Aberlour, very good fare, delicious desserts, and a stellar whisky collection. Recommend booking in advance for dinner during the tourist season, as it gets full quickly.

Delicious food and their whisky list is more like a bible! We were very happy and impressed with the food, decor, service and whisky options. Book in advance in case they are busy. Right by the River Spey if you have a chance to check that out too.

The Mash Tun is perfectly situated just off the main street of Aberlour facing a park and the river, so it's not only a pretty outlook but peaceful and relaxing, especially if you have a room facing in that direction. My room did as this window was large and let in lots of light and had an armchair facing this...

We had two rooms here prior to our tour of Balvenie. I can certainly recommend staying here. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Both our rooms were spacious and clean. Even though our visit was in August the weather was cool enough that it wasn't uncomfortable without air conditioning. We ate dinner in the pub and had the breakfast...
