you cannot believe that the red kites in the sky all came from one female bird, it was the best £5 I have spent for ages.if you are going take a cushon to sit on and wrap up warm as you are in the shade.

We have been here a couple of times, it's an amazing sight to see so many of these birds swooping down to feed, there can be nowhere else like it, there is now a cafe on site and also camping, this place is a credit...More

We normally stay at Wyeside but this place was a great find. 5-10 min walk into town, quiet, wifi(!), and barring a toilet or 2 that's it. We couldn't find a working tap, there are no showers (use the leisure centre), but it's friendly and...More

This was a great thing to do, we watched from hides as the red kites came over and landed to feed dead on 3pm. hundreds came lovely to see well worth doing. don't forget a camera, cafe on site serves good coffee and cake.

We spent a week in the camping pod at Gigrin. The pod is warm and has mains electricty, a TV and a kettle as well as a bed and amazingly... wifi!!. No cooking is allowed in the pod, which was fine on dry days but...More
